Good Bye People Photography Contest

No one can imagine how happy it always made me to offer all of you a platform to share your photos, get inspired by others and just be surrounded by people who share the same passion and love about photography.

After 55 weeks and almost 1000 Steem I gave out in prize money, I've decided to not longer continue this contest.

In my eyes Steemit is turning more and more into a crazy milking farm and people don't care about things like inspiration and passion anymore. It's all about REWARDS. For a lot of people it's even to much to say "Thank you" after winning prizes.

Fairness and equality are 2 of the biggest principles in my eyes, but unfortunately that's not the case for everyone.

I've seen enough of this behavior in the past weeks/months and it honestly makes me incredible sad as I really tried so many things to push the photography community forward. But why trying and trying when people don't give a shit anyway?

Thank you to everyone who participated in my contest! You guys are amazing (most of you at least) and we will see us around anyway, even without my contest.

And Fu** you to everyone who is only here to milk the system in an absolute disgusting manner.

How unfortunate it is to hear that news. The truth is that this contest is still one of the best in photography on the platform. Thanks to you I understood that the photos are not given just like that, they have a process to improve or improve them. If you decide to continue here I will be supporting you with the little I know.

I totally get your point, Chris. I was discouraged from running my travel photo contest in a while... Sad to see your contest to an end, I hope it is actually a pause. Keep posting your great photos from those amazing places!

That is sad news but i totally understand where your coming from they are my principles also and it's a shame to see some people disregarding that an simply thank you or a smile can change any ones day i do hope to see you back some day....Cheers buddy 😊

Oh! This is too sudden for me! I always look out for your beautiful photos and wonder when I could take photos like yours!

There will always be good and bad people everywhere! Very sad to see you go like this! You probably had seen too much ugliness in this world. Let go of those negative energies.

Follow more positive resonance! I know you will succeed very well in all that you choose to do!

I have to find out if they have a fried rice competition at the temple next year! Then, you’ll enter the contest!!

Hope to meet up some day when the planetary conjunctions afford clear and auspicious and healthy atmosphere!

Honestly, I would like to have the opportunity to be able to join this extraordinary contest. Maybe I'm late — that's what I understand. and I totally agree with your opinion.

Steemit is increasingly turning into a crazy dairy farm and people no longer care about inspiration and passion.

As a new player who loves steemit, I feel steemit is only for those who have high SP. Steemit feels that there is no communication between people, still seeing caste, and tolerance for mutual support is minimal. that's what I feel today as a beginner. Sad you see you go but i can relate to how you are feeling the principles seemed to have gone out the window with some people and greed is more in there interest it's getting to be a pretty sad world.

Well said and I am sorry that you are not continuing. The milking has always been here but after the last hard fork , and the bots were banned, it just brought it out into the open more.

I hope you have change of heart, don't let's others behaviour put you off. Curate harder and ignore and downvote what you personally consider acceptable.

Whatever you ultimately do, best wishes to you . Regularly looking at the competition entries , you will be missed.

PS if people can't even be bothered to say thank you , mute em and flag em . Ungrateful people have no place here.

I'm sorry to hear about this Chris, as I've enjoyed participating in this contest whenever I have an adorable picture of my little one. 😢

But I understand you. There are a lot of people who are only here because of greed. Sad but true.
