Just in case you had not noticed, steem-engine.com has a growing list of new tokens from the sensible to the downright ludicrous. In fact I was going to count them, and then realised the list goes on for ever! I had been thinking about making my own token for a while, but as with most things it never really happened. Then yesterday I was reading about chops token and casually mentioned I had been thinking about making a token - and both @abh12345 and @slobberchops said "Why not?"
So with a challenge set, I went off and created a token. Of course some one has already made a COFFEE token, so I ended up with COFFEEA - and you can't use numbers or special characters so just to confuse everyone even more it is in all letters. At this point the question "Why not?" is answered with "Because I have no idea what I am doing".
So with the token created, the next question is what to do with it. I'm going to air drop them to people I know will pass them around, my idea was to make it a fun token to reward people with - and ideally make it easy for them to do that. Fortunately @holger80 has created Distribubot which you can run on a server and configure it to reward whoever is being replied to when it is called.
After a great deal of trial and error, I have finally got the configuration mostly to my liking. It's really simple to send someone a COFFEEA token - but you must have at least five of your own before you can. When you send someone a COFFEEA token - it does not come from your own holding, it is out of my central holding. So you can give without loosing out, however you are limited to giving per day - so if you only have 5 COFFEEA you can only give 1 COFFEEA a day, 10 and you give 2 and so on.
So if you are replying to a post or comment and what to reward the person that created it, anywhere in your reply type !COFFEEA and you will send them one token, there will be a comment created confirming the token has been sent - and the comment that issued the token will get a 5% upvote from the token account.
If you are holding enough COFFEEA tokens then you can send more then the default 1, for example !COFFEEA 3 will send 3 tokens providing you are holding more then 3 yourself.
The configuration settings will change over time, when they do I will make sure updates are posted.
You need COFFEEA to send COFFEEA - if you do not have any just ask and I will send you some to start off with.
To give COFFEEA just type !COFFEEA in a reply. It must be uppercase letters.
