Some photos from our day at the Golden mount (Wat Saket) (1/3)

Hey!

I had some photos unedited from our trip to Thailand last November.

This statue was in the lobby of the Prince Palace Hotel. Each morning they'd bring fresh breakfast for him to eat.

As I snapped the photo, we were already leaving the Prince Palace, and moved to another hotel, the ibis Bangkok Sathorn.

That one was easier for @kaminchan to come meet us, and for us to go see new places from.

First we visited a temple. (I have completely forgotten where it was, but it did have some amazing buddha statues.

Because I was shooting with the 50mm lens, I needed to take two photos to stitch together to fit him in the picture.

...it seems like it's already late tonight, so... I will need to split this post into two and post the rest of the photos tomorrow.

Wow! Very nice photos! My iPhone can’t do this sort of photos! Here is the name of the temple! Wat Saket or the Golden Mount Temple!

Great looking statues! The technique of using shallow depth of field to pick out details of the image works well when photographing subjects like this.
