I was a bit surprised to see that *A Dog's Way Home* only received a 6.2/10 (currently) at IMDb. The film is based on a story of the same name by writer W. Bruce Cameron. Cameron also wrote the book (and screenplay) *A Dog's Purpose* which has a sequel coming out later this year.
