   Growing up, I never really had much screen time. We only get to have fun by playing with other children outside the house. So whenever we get the opportunity to watch a movie, we usually go for one filled with loads of laughter and playing, especially comedy.

   This prompt made me remember a lot of movies I loved watching as a child. Movies like “The gods must be crazy”, “ Home Alone”, “Me Bean” and many more were always fun for usWhen watching, no one would want to be called to run an errand so as not to miss out. These movies made my childhood so fun and entertaining. My siblings and I would watch these movies and laugh our hearts out. One of the childhood movies that was so thrilling for me was “Baby's Day Out”.

   Movie Plot

   Baby's Day out is a 1994 movie centered around a nine months old baby from a rich family who was kidnapped by three crooks. They were disguised as photographers and successfully kidnapped the baby. Afterwards, they reached out to the baby's parents and demanded a huge amount of money as ransom.

   They thought they had won but little did they know they were in for a ride of their life. If only they knew, they probably would have left the baby safe in his parent's home 😃😃😃😃.

   What I loved About The Movie

   Though as a child, I wouldn't say I understood everything about the movie but I can definitely remember how i felt watching it.

   I remembered being at the edge of my seat when watching this movie for the first time. Because I didn't know better, I really commended the baby’s ability to “escape” the kidnappers and go a long distance, outwitting the kidnappers in the process while the baby didn't get hurt.

   I was so rooting for the baby not to get hurt back then while crawling to places like the zoo, construction site and others. I was so happy to see that the kidnappers got the brunt of it all. Hahaha, they weren't smart at all, just three bunch of stooges.

   After watching, I quickly showed it to my friends then, who also happened to be my neighbors children and they all trooped in to see the movie of a wonder kid who was able to outsmart three kidnappers and we all watched it all over again.

   If you are looking for a movie to crack your ribs and make you laugh out loud, try checking out this movie. I am also going to be watching it again after so many years.

   ¡Feliz día! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi participación en el concurso #31 de la comunidad donde les hablaré no solo de una película con un protagonista joven (muy joven de hecho) sino que además es una de mis favoritas desde mi infancia y aun lo sigue siendo, he perdido la cuenta de cuantas veces la he visto pero lo que si les puedo asegurar es que no me canso de hacerlo, sin importar cuantas veces la repita siempre me va a encantar, es un gran clásico que estoy segura de que todos o al menos la gran mayoría la ha visto, me refiero a la película ¡Cuidado, bebé suelto!, o como yo le decía de niña Bubu, es una película muy linda con una historia muy conmovedora a pesar de las situaciones que muestra, así que les hablaré un poco de ella desde mi punto de vista y resumiendo un poco, sin más, ¡comencemos!

   Happy day! Today I want to share with you my participation in the contest #31 of the community where I will tell you not only about a movie with a young protagonist (very young in fact) but also that it is one of my favorites since my childhood and still is, I have lost count of how many times I have seen it but I that if I can assure you is that I never get tired of doing it, no matter how many times I repeat it, I will always love it, it is a great classic that I am sure that everyone or at least the vast majority has seen it, I mean the movie Careful, loose baby!, or as I used to call it as a child Bubu, it's a very nice movie with a very moving story despite the situations it shows, so I'll tell you a little about it From my point of view and summarizing a bit, without further ado, let's start!

   ¿Quién no ha visto alguna vez esta película sobre el bebé perdido en la ciudad? si no lo has hecho o no la recuerdas bien en este post la resumiré a mi manera detallando las partes más importantes de la película, la cual se ubica dentro del género Comedia infantil, un género muy sano y apto para toda la familia, protagonizada por los gemelos Jacob Joseph y Adam Robert Worton quienes dieron vida a este tierno personaje, la película fue dirigida por Patrick Read Jonhson y distribuida por 20th Century Studios y fue estrenada el 1 de julio de 1994.

   Who hasn't seen this movie about the lost baby in the city? If you haven't or don't remember it well, in this post I'll summarize it in my own way, detailing the most important parts of the movie, the which is located within the genre Children's Comedy, a very healthy genre and suitable for the whole family, starring the twins Jacob Joseph and Adam Robert Worton who gave life to this tender character, the film was directed by Patrick Read Johnson and distributed by 20th Century Studios and was released on July 1, 1994.

   Trama | Plot

   

   La trama trata de un bebé que es secuestrado, escapa de sus captores y durante la travesía vive muchas aventuras recorriendo la ciudad, en su mayoría peligrosas pero por suerte el bebé sale ileso de todas las situaciones que vive mientras que los tontos secuestradores la pasan mal tratando de recuperarlo.

   The plot is about a baby who is kidnapped, escapes from his captors and during the journey lives many adventures touring the city, mostly dangerous but luckily the baby comes out unharmed from all the situations he lives while the silly kidnappers have a bad time trying to get it back.

   Resumen | Summary

   

   La historia comienza con un bebé (Bebé Pino) de una pareja millonaria que viven en una mansión, estos deciden sacarle unas fotografías y contratan a 3 fotógrafos dejando a la niñera a cargo de la tarea, los fotógrafos son interceptados por 3 delincuentes que se hacen pasar por estos y llegan a la mansión con intenciones de secuestrar al niño, para ello piden a la niñera retirarse mientras toman las fotos y es allí cuando aprovechan de llevarse al niño, la niñera al darse cuenta da parte a las autoridades quienes llegaron inmediatamente a la mansión al igual que los padres al enterarse de la noticia.

   The story begins with a baby (Baby Pino) ​​of a millionaire couple who live in a mansion, they decide to take some pictures of it and hire 3 photographers, leaving the nanny in charge of the task, the photographers are intercepted by 3 criminals who pretend to be go through these and arrive at the mansion with the intention of kidnapping the child, for this they ask the nanny to leave while they take the photos and that is when they take advantage of taking the child, the nanny realizing it informs the authorities who immediately came to the mansion just like the parents when they heard the news.

   Al llevarse al bebé se llevan consigo el cuento del niño, al cual este llamaba Bubu, tratando de hacerse cargo del niño le leen el cuento pero la verdad es que los secuestradores resultan ser un trio de tontos a tal punto que el bebé se les escapa, al darse cuenta comienzan la búsqueda y a partir de allí comienzan las verdaderas aventuras de Bebé Pino por la ciudad.

   When they take the baby, they take with them the story of the child, whom he called Bubu, trying to take charge of the child, they read him the story, but the truth is that the kidnappers turn out to be a trio of fools to the point that he baby escapes from them, realizing they begin the search and from there begin the real adventures of Baby Pino around the city.

   Durante la travesía del Bebé Pino por la ciudad se enfrenta a situaciones peligrosas de las que logra salir completamente ileso, siendo para el unas divertidas aventuras, a medida que gateaba por la ciudad veía cosas que comparaba con el cuento que su niñera le leía, lo que pudo haber hecho que viera todo de otra forma, entre todo esto el niño llega a una construcción, al zoológico donde de alguna forma entra a la jaula de un gorila y comparte con este como si fueran amigos.

   During the journey of the Baby Pino through the city, he faces dangerous situations from which he manages to come out completely unharmed, being for him some fun adventures, as he crawled through the city he saw things that he compared with the story that his nanny I read to him, which could have made him see everything differently, among all this the boy arrives at a construction, at the zoo where he somehow enters a gorilla's cage and shares with it as if they were friends.

   Mientras el niño experimenta todas estas aventuras los secuestradores en su búsqueda van pasando por malos momentos mientras siguen al niño, mientras que al bebé no le pasó nada en todo su recorrido todo lo malo les iba pasando a los secuestradores, realmente parecían un trio de chiflados.

   While the child experiences all these adventures, the kidnappers in his search go through bad times as they follow the child, while nothing happened to the baby throughout his journey, everything bad was happening to the kidnappers, they really seemed like a trio of crazy people.

   La última parada del niño fue un asilo de ancianos al que de alguna forma llegó, mientras la policía busca al niño descubren los lugares donde fue visto, la niñera se da cuenta de que el bebé está haciendo todo lo que sucede en el libro y cree saber dónde está, sin dudarlo van al asilo y por suerte encuentran al bebé compartiendo con los veteranos, lo toman y se lo llevan a casa.

   En el camino pasan por un lugar que el niño reconoce porque fue allí donde estuvo con los secuestradores y donde había quedado su libro Bubu, comienza a señalar y gritar y deciden hacerle caso y parar, para su suerte encuentran a los secuestradores quienes avientan el libro y la madre junto al niño lo recogen, atrapan a los malos y finalmente se van a casa.

   The boy's last stop was a nursing home that he somehow got to, while the police are looking for the boy they discover the places where he was seen, the nanny realizes that the baby is doing everything that happens in the book and believes knowing where he is, without hesitation they go to the nursing home and luckily they find the baby sharing with the veterans, they take him and take him home.

   On the way they pass by a place that the boy recognizes because that was where he was with the kidnappers and where his book had been left Bubu, he starts pointing and shouting and they decide to listen to him and stop, luckily they find the kidnappers who throw the book and the mother with the child pick it up, catch the bad guys and finally go home.

   Como escena final vemos al bebé en su cuna, alcanza un libro y este es de un nuevo cuento de un bebé en China, y allí termina, habría sido increíble que saliera una película con esa nueva trama pero desafortunadamente esta nunca llegó.

   As the final scene we see the baby in his crib, he reaches for a book and this is from a new story of a baby in China, and there it ends, it would have been incredible for a movie to come out with that new plot but unfortunately it never came.

   Mi opinión | My opinion

   

   A mi parecer es una película muy linda, vemos como los malos no logran salirse con las suyas y en su lugar son quienes viven todo lo malo, gracias a su torpeza no pudieron quedarse con el bebé y en cambio solo les fue muy mal mientras que el niño vivió las mejores aventuras de su vida sin siquiera saber que su vida estaba corriendo peligro, todo se resuelve, vuelve a la normalidad y el bebé estaba sano y salvo de vuelta con sus padres, puede que no podamos explicarnos como nadie en ningún momento se dio cuenta de que había un bebe gateando por toda la ciudad y como con tan solo unos 9 meses aproximadamente el niño logró recorrer la ciudad y llegar a todos los lugares tal como en su cuento pero todo esto hace que la historia tenga su encanto y toda la conveniencia de la trama hace al pequeño Bebé Pino el niño más suertudo del mundo.

   In my opinion it is a very nice movie, we see how the bad guys don't manage to get away with it and instead they are the ones who live all the bad things, thanks to their clumsiness they couldn't keep the baby and instead they only did very badly while the boy lived the best adventures of his life without even knowing that his life was in danger, everything is resolved, he returns to normal and the baby was safe and sound back with his parents, we may not be able to explain ourselves like anyone else at any time He realized that there was a baby crawling all over the city and since he was only about 9 months old, the child managed to go through the city and reach all the places just like in his story, but all this makes the story have its charm and all the convenience of the plot makes little Baby Pine the luckiest kid in the world.

   Hello, my dear cinephile friends, as you know, I love old movies, so I set myself the task of watching at least one every Sunday to bring you a review and fill you with a bit of nostalgia. This time it was the turn of "Baby's Day Out" a hilarious 1994 film that in Latin America we call "Cuidado Bebé Suelto" (Watch out! Baby on the loose) and despite not having been a big box office success, today it is fondly remembered by viewers.

   Hola, mis queridos amigos cinéfilos, como ya saben, a mí me encantan las películas antiguas, así que me impuse la tarea de ver al menos una cada domingo para así traerles una review y llenarlos un poco de nostalgia. En esta ocasión le tocó el turno a "Baby's Day Out" un divertidísimo film de 1994 que en latinoamérica llamamos "Cuidado Bebé Suelto" y que a pesar no haber sido un gran éxito de taquilla, hoy en día es recordado con mucho cariño por los espectadores.

   I must emphasise that watching this film a few days ago gave me the same sensations as when I saw it in the cinema 28 years ago, I wanted to hug and kiss baby Pino at all times because he is extremely cute. The film is entertaining from the beginning, from the credits as they eventually start to look like images of the book that the nanny usually reads to the baby and which is very important for the plot.

   Debo recalcar que ver esta película hace unos días me generó las mismas sensaciones de cuando la vi en el cine hace 28 años, tenía ganas de abrazar y besar a bebé Pino en todo momento porque es extremadamente tierno. La película es entretenida desde el principio, desde los créditos ya que eventualmente van a pareciendo imágenes del libro que la niñera suele leer para el bebé y que es muy importante para la trama.

   One of the things I like most about this film is that it exposes the hypocrisy that usually exists in high society, people almost always act out of "what will they say? "instead of acting out of their own free will, and we can see this in the scene where the baby's mother tells her husband that she wants her baby to appear in the social pages of the newspaper like the children of her friends, but she doesn't want the photos to be taken by her usual photographer who would take simple but beautiful photos, but that the job should be done by a "professional", and this is where the problems begin.

   Una de las cosas que más me gusta de esta película es que expone la hipocresía que usualmente se vive dentro de la alta sociedad, la gente casi siempre actúa por el "¿qué dirán?" en lugar de hacerlo por su propia voluntad, y esto lo podemos comprobar en la escena donde la madre del bebé le dice a su marido que quiere que su bebé aparezca en las páginas de sociales del periódico como los hijos de sus amistades, pero no desea que las fotos las haga su fotógrafo habitual quien haría fotos sencillas pero hermosas, sino que el trabajo lo haga un "profesional", y es allí donde empiezan los problemas.

   The supposed photographer and his assistants are nothing more than criminals who intend to kidnap Bink (the baby) and in fact succeed, when they ask the baby's mother to put on another dress as the one she was wearing might draw too much attention to the baby and distract him, But in these scenes we can discover something very important, and that is that although the mother evidently loves her baby, she does not know him well enough and every time the supposed photographer asks her something about him, she turns to the nanny, who knows Bink best because she spends so much time with him. This fact is part of the reality that many mothers, either due to lack of time or even by choice, decide to relegate all responsibilities to the nannies, to the point of not knowing their children at all.

   El supuesto fotógrafo y sus ayudantes no son más que delincuentes que pretenden secuestrar a Bink (el bebé) y de hecho lo logran, cuando le piden a la madre del bebé que se ponga otro vestido ya que el que tenía puesto podría llamar demasiado la atención del bebé y distraerlo, pero en estas escenas podemos descubrir algo muy importante, y es que a pesar de que evidentemente la madre ama a su bebé, no lo conoce lo suficiente y cada vez que el supuesto fotógrafo le pregunta algo acerca de él, ella recurre a la nana, que es quien más conoce a Bink por pasar tanto tiempo junto a él. Este hecho forma parte de la realidad, muchas madres, ya sea por falta de tiempo, o incluso por elección propia, deciden relegar todas las responsabilidades en las nanas, hasta el punto de desconocer totalmente a sus hijos.

   Throughout the film we see Bink in different scenarios and the three bad guys chasing him to capture him, not because they really want to protect him, but because for them he represents a profit of 5 million dollars (that's the amount they asked for the ransom).

   Durante toda la película vemos a Bink en diferentes escenarios y a los tres malechores persiguiéndolo para capturarlo, no porque quieran protegerlo realmente, sino porque para ellos representa una ganancia de 5 millones de dólares (es la cantidad que pidieron por el rescate).

   Obviously the film is full of absurd and implausible situations but that is precisely its appeal and there are plenty of scenes that guarantee a good laugh, one of my favourites is where Norby (one of the kidnappers) tries to put the baby to sleep by singing a song, but one of his companions, Veeko, is watching him from the kitchen and makes fun of him.

   Obviamente la película está llena de situaciones absurdas e inverosímiles pero precisamente ese es su atractivo y hay muchísimas escenas que garantizan unas buenas carcajadas, una de mis favoritas es donde Norby (uno de los secuestradores) intenta dormir al bebé cantándole una canción, pero uno de sus compañeros, Veeko, lo está observando desde la cocina y se burla de él.

   But without a doubt one of my favourite scenes is when Veeko cuts his nails with his teeth and then spits them out, but unintentionally, the nails end up on Eddie's neck, then he gradually gets angry, however, the baby Bink who was on the roof started drooling, and some of the drool fell on Eddie who, thinking that Veeko was the culprit, hit him. I swear that scene made me laugh so hard, even now as I'm writing these lines I can't stop laughing, especially at Eddie's facial expressions.

   Pero sin lugar a dudas que una de mis escenas favoritas es cuando Veeko se corta las uñas con los dientes y luego las escupe pero sin intención, las uñas van a parar al cuello de Eddie, entonces él se va enojando paulatinamente, sin embargo, el bebé Bink que estaba en la azotea comenzó a babear, y un poco de la baba cayó sobre Eddie que, al pensar que el culpable es Veeko, lo golpeó. Les juro que esa escena me hizo reír mucho, incluso ahora mientras estoy redactando estas líneas no paro de reír, sobre todo por las expresiones faciales de Eddie.

   Although this film is full of funny and absurd scenes, as I said before, we can also find quite touching and thoughtful scenes such as the meeting between Bink's mother and the poor mother who lives in a building with many children. The rich mother sees in that moment that despite the fact that the children live in poverty and that she is raising them alone, she is completely happy because she has all her children with her, which proves that there are things that money can't buy.

   A pesar de que esta película está llena de escenas graciosas y absurdas, como ya lo dije antes, también podemos encontrar escenas bastante conmovedoras y llenas de reflexión como por ejemplo el encuentro entre la madre de Bink y la madre pobre que vive en un edificio con muchos hijos. La madre rica comprueba en ese momento que a pesar de que los niños viven en pobreza y de que esa mujer los está criando sola, ella es plenamente feliz porque tiene a todos su hijos consigo, lo que comprueba que hay cosas que el dinero no puede comprar.

   The woman's words touched my heart "I'm going to pray that they find your baby, these children are all I have, I wouldn't want to be in their place" and I can't forget the tearful voice of the baby's mother Bink saying "I hope you never will be".

   Las palabras de la mujer me llegaron al corazón "Voy a rezar para que encuentren a su bebé, estos niños son todo lo que tengo, no me gustaría estar en su lugar" y tampoco puedo olvidar la voz llorosa la madre del bebé Bink decir "Espero que jamás lo estés"

   According to police reports of sightings of a baby in different areas of the city, it is finally the nanny who realises that the child is following the same sequence of the storybook she used to read to him, thus demonstrating how much she knows him, much more than his own mother.

   De acuerdo a los reportes policiales de los avistamientos de un bebé en diferentes zonas de la ciudad, finalmente es la nana quien se da cuenta de que el niño está siguiendo la misma secuencia del libro de cuentos que ella solía leer para él, demostrando así lo mucho que lo conoce, mucho más que su propia madre.

   One of the scenes that I found very absurd is when Bink's mother, after retrieving him, makes a quick deduction as to where the kidnappers are, just because the baby points to a building saying "Boo Boo", referring to his favourite book. Still, let's just say it's okay for a film aimed primarily at children.

   Una de las escenas que me pareció muy absurda es cuando la madre de Bink, después de recuperarlo, hace una rápida deducción de donde están los secuestradores, tan solo porque el bebé señala un edificio diciendo "Boo Boo" refiriéndose a su libro favorito. Sin embargo digamos que está bien, tratándose de una película dirigida principalmente a niños.

   In conclusion, it is a hilarious film that you can enjoy with the whole family and that will guarantee you a good time full of laughter and very valuable lessons. That's all for today, thank you very much for your attention, friends, see you next time.
