    A toy for a lifetime.

A remake and also a reboot of the series of the famous movie from 1988 Child Plays, shot in 2019 without the approval of the main creator, it could have come out a strange movie, and it would initially seem to be.

The film starts in a factory where a Buddi doll is constructed, which is to be a perfect gift for boys, but adversities and revenge make one of the employees improve one of the dolls too much. store and this goes to Andy.
Andy mother even does him and does not even know how much of a threat she has just brought.

The movie is different more real than the 1988 version here we have an android who learns everything young Andy says (in the old version we had a cult and the souls of a criminal that took possession of the doll) However, there is one mini Chucky (still the name himself) takes everything too hard each other.

The film is divided into two segments in the first one we have a light thriller and 80/90 atmosphere from the second comedy, which is situational. Initially, I didn't like the movie because of the completely new look of the murderous doll, but the magic is in how this doll talks and speaks quite a lot with Mark Hammil's great voice.

The movie is generally easy to read and quite schematic, many times in the old movies we saw someone evict everyone just to be with someone, and here it is similar Chucky tries to eliminate anyone who stands in the way of playing with Andy.

The closer to the finale, the more I convinced to this crazy and more real version of Chucky. The film has interesting moments (the scene with the lawn mower or the crazy lady in the car are very comedy fragments, but they also have a strange, unique atmosphere taken from the 80s) I liked that the main characters are still children and I have to fight a crazy doll, often seeing hectoliters of blood around.

The film is also aware that it is semi-comedy and you can see it more than once as there are references to the original series while making fun of it. I liked the film, on the one hand we get an interesting dark film with elements of horror (for younger viewers), on the other hand, a comedy that softens the seriousness of the production. I rate 7/10 because a well-made film with Marek's great voice and an unforgettable song :)
