Daddy's Home 2 is a 2017 American Christmas buddy comedy film directed by Sean Anders and written by Anders and John Morris. A sequel to Daddy's Home (2015), it stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini, John Cena, with John Lithgow and Mel Gibson. The plot follows now-reformed fathers Brad and Dusty, now co-parenting Dusty's kids, who have to deal with their own fathers visiting for the holidays.

Comedy can be said to be good if able to meet the purpose of laughter, as horror ignites fear or adrenaline racing action. Be special if there is a scene (with the function of supporting that goal) that is constantly embedded in the memory. This was not as good as the first movie. It is OK watching once. But I would not watch it more than that. The first daddy's home I really liked. When it comes to comedy, I prefer dark comedy to slapstick or situation comedy. With dark comedy, you generally get a decent story along with a plot. Sometimes you even get a really good story.
