Although the series ended on December 22nd of last year, I was able to finish it recently despite only being 6 episodes. The reason is that after the third episode, it seemed somewhat slow and boring to me, but I recently gave it a second chance and ended up liking the ending of the series. Dune: La Profecía - ¿La nueva "Game of Thrones? >Aunque la serie terminó el 22 de diciembre del año pasado, me fue posible term…More

Dune Prophecy is a series with a complex narrative that maintains the seriousness of the literary background in which it is inspired , perhaps it did not reach many people because of the heavy definitions that can be raised at the religious level, such details will always cause conflict in the minds of people but I think the end of season shows that the narrative was executed in the lightest possible way to reach th…More
After watching the first 2 Dune movies i learned that there is a series going on, it's like a prequel in a sense but not exactly at the same time. The certain thing is that we get to learn more info about the said Universe and possibly get more hooked to it. The series has 6 episodes and most likely there will be a second season as well. Plot So the story sets around 10000 years before the movies and is focused on t…More
I really enjoy watching anything Dune. The new stuff is all good, but my favorite is still the original movie of 1984. This is mostly talking and I with just enough action and cool scenes to keep my interest. It does have this guy.. the main character from Vikings before.More
Source The last Episode of Season 1 of Dune Prophecy came in with a solid closing, delivering an action packed episode that answered so many questions setting up an exciting future for the series that many thought it was a failure when it never was, although I have to admit its something else than the movies where there is more action into them. The High-Handed Enemy", last episode of season 1, I can say that this w…More
Source After four episodes of political drama and mystic powers because to be hones we still don't know where Desmond powers come from, Episode 5 brings everything together and is what I think is the best episode yet, that's the problem with good series that you think every other episode is the best one although got to say Prophecy did start a bit slow. The slow burning plot suddenly bursts into flames with major re…More
Source I can't say Dune Prophecy has been a disappointment although based on the movies success, I don't feel its at the same level, the quality is there bit its just there story, a bit similar to Part 1 but after watching Episode 4 it's clear that the show is getting its more traction and delivering a solid mix of political intrigue and mystical stuff that's what makes the Dune universe so unique and attractive. Th…More

It will air until December 21, with the 4th episode releasing today (08-12-2024) Plot Overview- The 3 e…More
We are machines designed to evolve, I think that nature aims to mold a superior genetics and in that process of constant destruction and creation, sedentary lifestyle creates stagnation in us humans, we must be in constant motion and change to move forward, all this is reflected and nurtures narratives and stories of power in which the flow of conflict is what makes us see, entertain and learn, maybe that's why we n…More
Source After watching episode 3 of Dune Prophecy I'm wondering how this season is going to end and what I mean by this is how much impact it will have on viewers, after all this is suppose to be at HOTD levels and as we saw Season 2 of HOTD was really disappointing like they were wasting time during most episode even though there were dragons everywhere, well Dune Prophecy already show " the voice " been stop so all…More
HBO’s new series, Dune: Prophecy, recently premiered, and I’m absolutely fascinated that this prequel is based on one of the later books in Frank Herbert’s saga. His son, Brian Herbert, and sci-fi author Kevin James Anderson penned two subsequent sequels, but they didn’t quite resonate with the audience like the original six books. However, the 2012 novel, Sisterhood of Dune, was really well-received, making it the…More
Source Episode 2 of Dune Prophecy is beginning to find some ground but a big event just happen to anyone that has not read the books, even if the pacing still feels a bit slow at times, there's more substance here than the first episode specially the details behind the Bene Gesserit operation and plans, as most TV series based on books or previous movies it might not be 200% accurate but at least it is expanding the…More
Source The first episode of Dune : We go 10,000 years before Paul Atreides , after humanity has won the Machine Wars and establishes the foundation for the Bene Gesserit order, part of the story that is not even mention during the movies, something that for me as a new Dune fan I'm very eager to know more about but for that I might have to look for the books and not for any other sequel or TV Series. In the beginnin…More
