I confess that I even cried while reading this book, because the story touches you to your very core. It's a delight to be captivated by the charm of this boy who takes half a blue pill to prevent his leg from turning into a helicopter. And for that reason I give 100/100 to this beautiful novel.

Hoy quiero hablarles de la bella novela Naranjas dulces, de Néstor Caballero. Confieso que la leí dos veces, ya que fue un verdadero placer viajar a través de la voz de Ezequiel Martínez, "Nené". Nuestro niño protagonista posee una gran creatividad y mucha imaginación, quien a lo largo de la historia nos pasea por un tobogán de emociones que van desde la risa y la nostalgia, hasta el terror del peligro.
Si lees la contraportada de este libro, notarás que la descripción te promete que, si devoras las primeras líneas de Naranjas dulces, ya no la podrás soltarla. Es una gran verdad y puedo dar fe de ello: sus 643 páginas se leen con absoluto gusto. Cuando estás por terminar, te embarga una profunda nostalgia, tal cual como cuando viajas a un lugar que te encanta y no quieres irte porque sabes que el paseo está llegando a su fin.
Les confieso que con este libro hasta lloré, porque la historia te mueve fibra por fibra. Es una delicia dejarse atrapar bajo los encantos de este niño que se toma la mitad de una pastilla azul para evitar que su pierna se convierta en helicóptero. Y por tal motivo le doy 100/100 a esta hermosa novela.
