I haven’t had a reading experience like this in a very long time—and unfortunately, not in a good way. The story started off quite interesting, especially since I’m a fan of books and movies centered around time travel. Sadly, it quickly became extremely hard to follow and, for the most part, quite boring.
An overwhelming amount of detail—much of it feeling unnecessary—combined with multiple names used for the same protagonists turned the story into something increasingly chaotic. At several points, it felt more confusing than intriguing.
