I've managed to stay away from The Housemaid series, which is more popular because I wanted to read some of the other books of Freida before jumping in this series, and The Boyfriend came as the 2nd read from this author that even if it's a good read with plenty of unexpected twists, I found the previous book I've read from Freida better than this one. I am not sure if it's a good thing or not to compare various books of the same author, but the thing that I managed to figure out some of the things that were going on, made me want to finish it faster, so I can move on to a different book.
