Sudden Impact is a 1983 American neo-noir action-thriller film, the fourth in the Dirty Harry series. Clint Eastwood reprises his starring role as Inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan and also produced and directed the film; it is his sole directorial effort in the series. The film co-stars Sondra Locke, Pat Hingle, Albert Popwell and Bradford Dillman.
