The Souvenir is a 2019 romantic drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Joanna Hogg. The film is a semi-autobiographical account of Hogg's experiences at film school. The Souvenir' 은 이야기를 있는 그대로 전하기 위해 그렇게 많은 것을 목표로 하는 것이 아니라, 반드시 공감할 필요가 있는 관객과의 연계를 만들기 위해 Joanna Hogg 감독이 추구하는 것은 주인공의 정서를 중심으로 관객과의 대화를 구축하는 것이다. 이 대화는 각 장면과 상황을 통해 감독에 의해 관리되는데, 요즘 영화 제작자가 현대 영화에 넘쳐나는 광범위하고 지나치게 설명하지 않고 영화적 언어로 감정을 묘사하는 것을 고집하는 것은 그리 흔하지 않기 때문에 이러한 측면의 첫 번째를 부각시키는 것이 중요하다.
