Not all romantic stories are to my liking, some touch on very common themes and that gets a bit annoying, however, there is a romance movie that I really like because it also raises the issue of time travel, it is called The Time Traveler's Wife, this is about a man who, as a result of an unknown genetic variety, can travel in time randomly without having specific control over this, he ends up falling in love with a young artist, so he takes advantage of his time travels to see her in the different stages of her life, this makes the relationship quite complicated by not being able to control his trips, there is no certainty as to when he will be able to disappear from the present time to return to the past or to travel to the future, nor is the exact duration of these known, that is, it can happen at any time and appear anywhere without clothes.
No todas las historias románticas son de mi agrado, algunas tocan temas demasiado comunes y eso se vuelve un poco fastidioso, sin embargo, hay una película de romance que me gusta mucho porque plantea también los viajes en el tiempo, se trata de La esposa del viajero del tiempo, esta trata sobre un hombre que producto de una desconocida variedad genética puede viajar en el tiempo de forma aleatoria sin tener especificamente un control sobre esto, el termina enamorándose de una joven artista, por eso aprovecha sus viajes en el tiempo para verla en los diferentes estadios de su vida, esto hace que la relación se bastante complicada al no poder controlar sus viajes, no hay certeza de en qué momento el podrá desaparecer del tiempo presente para volver al pasado o para viajar en futuro, tampoco se sabe exactamente la duración de estos, es decir que puede ocurrir en cualquier momento y aparecer en cualquier lugar sin ropa.

Me gusta de esta historia que el protagonista decida confiar en su pareja y contarle lo que sucede con su problema de viajar en el tiempo, esto hace que el asunto no sea como un problema que deba enfrentar totalmente solo, pues su pareja se muestra bastante comprensiva y decide no renunciar a su amor, pero por supuesto que van a presentar dificultades muy grandes, por ejemplo hay momentos en que el hombre viaja a periodos de la vida de la mujer donde ella aun no lo conoce, por lo tanto debe conformarse con apreciarla desde una perspectiva del amor incondicional pero sin mucho acercamiento, me parece muy lindo que el pueda verla cuando ella es niña, es muy romántico que el la sigua buscando en cada uno sus viajes, sin embargo, el problema a veces es difícil de manejar, incluso cuando deciden casarse el desaparece pero vuelve a parecer pero con más edad y tiene algunas canas en su cabello, esta parte me parece graciosa, pero aun cuando la situación es complicada dentro de ese contexto al tener un fecha fija del casamiento el sabe que volverá a aparecer así que tiene la ropa lista.
Sometimes it is a little difficult to understand the trips, because the temporality of the film also suffers these changes, however, the fact that the man keeps the memories of each experience in time makes the character have his own timeline, the film also deals with a quite delicate and sensitive issue such as motherhood and the decision to have children as a couple, on the one hand the woman insists on having children after having had abortions, the man believes that the abortions are the product of his same genetic disease that causes him to travel in time, so after several attempts he decides without consulting his wife to have a vasectomy, that is where the story shows us that even the protagonist himself is not so aware of the temporality of the trips, because his wife also manages to get pregnant because on one of their trips the man who has relations with his wife was a version before the practice of vasectomy, so that is how they finally manage to have a daughter.
A veces es un poco difícil comprender los viajes, debido a que la temporalidad de la película también sufre esos cambios, no obstante, el hecho de que el hombre mantenga los recuerdos de cada vivencia en el tiempo hace que el personaje tenga su propia línea temporal, la película también trata un tema bastante delicado y sensible como lo es la maternidad y la decisión de tener hijos en pareja, por un lado la mujer insiste en tener hijos después de haber tenido abortos, el hombre cree que los abortos son producto de su misma enfermedad genética que hace que viaje en el tiempo, por lo cual después de varios intentos decide sin consultar con su esposa practicarse un vasectomía, allí es donde la historia nos muestra que incluso el mismo protagonista no esta tan consciente de la temporalidad de los viajes, pues igualmente su esposa logra quedar embarazada debido a que en uno de sus viajes el hombre que tiene relaciones con su esposa era una versión anterior a la práctica de la vasectomía, entonces así logran tener una hija finalmente.

The film does not show a clear origin of why time travel occurs, it focuses more on the personal history of the couple, but even when the protagonist is the man, the wife is shown as the center of the story and how she must face the challenge of being the wife of the time traveler, something that the protagonist also overlooks is that after a while and after his daughter can also make time travel, he realizes when his death will occur, it is a logical fact to think that the man being able to travel in the future could go to times that he does not yet know, but also the limit of life puts limits on the number of trips he can make, therefore he realizes that in himself he has never been able to travel to a time where he is older.
La película no muestra un origen claro del porque ocurren los viajes en el tiempo, se enfocan más en la historia personal de la pareja, pero aun cuando el protagonista es el hombre se muestra a la esposa como el centro de la historia y como esta debe enfrentar el desafío de ser la esposa del viajero en el tiempo, algo que también pasa por alto el protagonista es que después de un tiempo y después de que su hija también puede hacer viajes en el tiempo, él se da cuenta de cuando ocurrirá su muerte, es un hecho lógico pensar que el hombre al poder viajar en el futuro podría ir a tiempos que aun no conoce, pero también el límite de la vida pone límites a la cantidad de viajes que puede hacer, por lo tanta se da cuenta que en si mismo nunca ha podido viajar a un tiempo donde se encuentre de más edad.
I like that the film shows a timeless romance but also with its own limitations, I think it's wonderful that the man can express the same love in each of the stages of the woman's life that he has been able to witness, I am one of those people who believes that people are never the same, each past or future version shows important changes, but being able to express love for the same person in each stage seems very nice to me but at the same time very sad, life is not forever, people have their hours counted even if there was a supernatural power that allowed them to travel they could never go further in time than their own life, the film therefore seems very romantic to me but at the same time very sad and that is what I found special.
Me gusta que la película muestre un romance atemporal pero también con sus propias limitantes, me parece maravilloso que el hombre pueda manifestar el mismo amor en cada una de las etapas de la vida de la mujer que ha podido presenciar, yo soy de las personas que cree que la gente nunca es la misma, cada versión pasada o del futuro muestra cambios importante, pero poder expresar el amor por la misma persona en cada etapa me parece muy lindo pero a la vez muy triste, la vida no es para siempre, las personas tiene sus horas contadas aun cuando hubiese un poder sobrenatural que le permitiera viajar nunca podría ir mas allá en el tiempo de su propia vida, la película por tanto me parece muy romántica pero a la vez muy triste y eso es lo que me pareció especial.
