Hola Hivers amantes de las películas, en esta ocasión deseo compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre una película francesa, está disponible dentro del catálogo de Netflix en la sección de películas premiadas, de vez en cuanto me paseo por esta sección buscando aquellos films que puedan ser de interés para mí y para otros espectadores, pienso que este es uno de esos casos. El titulo original de esta producción es Le chant du loup, en nuestro idioma, El Canto del Lobo.
Esta producción europea cuenta con 115 minutos nos introduce en el género de drama bélico, siendo una de las características principales el desenvolvimiento de un segmento de la trama en el interior de submarinos, una película que nos acerca un poco a una especie de guerra fría, recordando el viejo conflicto entre oriente y occidente.

Un miembro de un submarino francés tiene la enorme capacidad de analizar la acústica bajo el agua, detectando amenazas con gran precisión. Una habilidad que le sirve a la armada francesa en las crecientes tensiones de occidente con Rusia, donde se encrudecen las sensaciones de la guerra fría.
Análisis de la Película
Es algo muy típico en mis reseñas y recomendaciones es hablar sobre temas bélicos, a pesar de no ser un amante del conflicto en la vida real, me encantan este tipo de historias. El argumento se va desarrollando en el presente, comenzamos con una buena introducción del film para presentar a los protagonistas, sobre todo a Chanteraide, un sujeto con una habilidad extraordinaria que pocos pasaran desapercibida, su capacidad para la acústica es excepcional, sabiendo todo lo que ocurre alrededor del submarino con el que comenzamos esta película, este joven puede saber si lo que se encuentra en el agua cerca del submarino es una animal, un barco u otro submarino, analizando rápidamente si representan una amenaza, sabiendo hasta el modelo exacto barcos y submarinos con tan solo escucharlos.
La película comienza con una introducción envolvente, combinando algo de acción y esa presentación del protagonista exhibiendo esa habilidad que nos deja perplejos, esta primera misión dentro de la introducción es un verdadero gancho para el espectador. Para el amante de los films con temas bélicos y de las capacidades navales de la actualidad, creo que será cautivado con esta introducción y no se despegará de la pantalla hasta el final, ese es un punto a favor que a mi parecer logra la película, nos presenta una introducción bastante envolvente y dinámica construyendo los cimientos de su narrativa de muy buena manera.
¿Espacio Reducido?
La película nos presenta una narrativa bastante interesante y fluida, a pesar de que los protagonistas son los poderosos submarinos, poco está presente esa sensación de encierro que ocurre en películas de espacio reducido, la trama comienza dentro un submarino, pero también se desarrolla en la superficie para cambiar a otros submarinos posteriormente, así que no es una película donde nos sentiremos claustrofóbicos dentro de un solo submarino.
¿Una Guerra Fría o Antesala a una Guerra Caliente?
Esta característica de la película puede ser un imán para los espectadores, conociendo todas las noticias que al momento de este escrito son tendencias, donde Rusia acapara la atención (hablando de la película). Una escalada de tensiones sobre Moscú al invadir un país soberano (no es Ucrania), en la película es otra nación que hace que las alarmas y ese fantasma de la guerra fría vuelvan a ser noticia en el mundo.
Disuasión
Una palabra que hemos leído mucho en las noticias actuales también es abarcada en la película Le chant du loup, la película va desarrollando la historia a partir del conflicto con rusia incluyendo la disuasión, una palabra que quizás no es tan impactante por sí sola, sin embargo, si le sumamos armas nucleares a esta formula definitivamente hace mantener la atención en combinación de una creciente preocupación.

Cada país tiene sus protocolos en cuanto a la disuasión sobre las armas de destrucción masiva, en esta película podremos observar esos fuertes protocolos ante la eventualidad que todos deseamos que se quede solo en las películas, a partir de estas dos palabras disuasión y protocolo, la película se va desenvolviendo en la segunda mitad y va generando diversas emociones en el espectador.
Tensión
Uno de los aspectos más importantes que introduce la película es la tensión sobre lo que puede llegar a ocurrir en un conflicto armado a gran escala entre oriente y occidente, convirtiendo una guerra “fría” en una “nuclearmente caliente”, observamos que cada decisión pesa millones de vidas y puede llevar al mundo a un camino sin salida. La tensión sobre la toma de decisiones y sobre ese mencionado protocolo sobre la disuasión disparan una tensión bastante significativa en el espectador, algo excelente para el fanático de los dramas bélicos.
Acción
En esta película podemos observar algunas pinceladas de acción, aunque pocas son esas escenas, por esos minutos se logra sentir la adrenalina correr por nuestra sangre, ya que sabremos lo que significará ganar o perder, esta acción a mi parecer es corta pero bastante emocionante y lleva a la película a un nuevo nivel de interés, a este punto no podremos separarnos de la pantalla.

El punto más positivo de esta película a mi parecer es la estructura del argumento y el desenvolvimiento de la narrativa a lo largo de la película, esta narrativa es fluida, eficaz y envolvente desde los primeros minutos de la producción, este aspecto en lo particular, en combinación a las situaciones en que se desarrolla la historia me parece lo más significativo de Le chant du loup.
Siempre he pensado que en Europa hay muy buenas producciones y un talento gigantesco, pienso en Francia como esos países del viejo continente con diversas producciones interesantes y de muy alta calidad, he visto desde hace algún tiempo producciones de este país y he quedado gratamente sorprendido por lo buenas que son sus películas, haciendo un buen énfasis en sus narrativas.
chant du loup es una muestra de esas producciones que de cierta manera son comerciales pero que son contadas de una manera diferente a como nos ha acostumbrado en cine norteamericano, es por eso que me ha agradado esta producción.
¿La Recomiendo?
Si, es una historia interesante, bastante fluida y muy bien narrada, con características de una película comercial que apunta a un gran segmento del público, realizada con una calidad notable. Una película que puede gustar a los amantes del drama bélico o atraídos por la política de guerra. La recomiendo abiertamente, definitivamente vale la pena verla.

The plot develops in the present, we begin with a good introduction of the film to present the protagonists, especially Chanteraide, a subject with an extraordinary ability that few will go unnoticed, his ability for acoustics is exceptional, knowing everything that happens around the submarine with which we begin this film, this young man can tell if what is in the water near the submarine is an animal, a ship or another submarine, quickly analyzing if they represent a threat, knowing even the exact model ships and submarines just by listening to them.
The film begins with an immersive introduction, combining some action and that presentation of the protagonist exhibiting that skill that leaves us perplexed, this first mission within the introduction is a real hook for the viewer. For the lover of films with war themes and naval capabilities of today, I think you will be captivated with this introduction and will not leave the screen until the end, that's a plus that in my opinion achieves the film, presents a fairly enveloping and dynamic introduction building the foundations of its narrative in a very good way.

The most positive point of this film in my opinion is the structure of the plot and the development of the narrative throughout the film, this narrative is fluid, effective and involving from the first minutes of the production, this aspect in particular, in combination with the situations in which the story unfolds seems to me the most significant of Le chant du loup.
I have always thought that in Europe there are very good productions and a gigantic talent, I think of France as those countries of the old continent with diverse interesting productions and of very high quality, I have seen for some time productions of this country and I have been pleasantly surprised by how good their films are, making a good emphasis in their narratives.
chant du loup is a sample of those productions that in a certain way are commercial but that are told in a different way than what we are used to in North American cinema, that is why I liked this production.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, it is an interesting story, quite fluid and very well narrated, with characteristics of a commercial film that targets a large segment of the audience, made with a remarkable quality. A film that may appeal to war drama lovers or those attracted by war politics. I openly recommend it, it is definitely worth watching.
