The weather has changed: rain yesterday, rain today, and heavy rain forecast for Thursday. Which means one thing: the green manure must be sown before then, or the seeds will go swimming instead of sprouting. 🌧️🌱
🌲 Morning walk in the woods
A walk through the woods this morning, with a nice surprise: mushrooms! I left them exactly where they were, because I couldn't identify them with certainty, and in the mushroom world "maybe" is not a recipe ingredient. 🍄🤷
🐔 The usual hen patrol
Then the daily routine: chasing the hens out of the winter garden. They know it's forbidden. I know they know. They know I know they know. And yet, here we are. 😅
The good news: yesterday they started using the mobile coop with the chicken tractor inside. Fresh grass, new territory and, I hope, a little less interest in my cabbages.
🎾 @choko.shock vs. the balls
Meanwhile @choko.shock dedicated himself to his favourite sport: long sprints after his balls, again and again and again. If we counted his steps, he would easily hit 10,000 before lunch. Maybe I should open an Actifit account for him too. 🐕💨
