This is similar to one of our contest questions on motivation and consistency, where I explained that irrespective of the level of motivation we get from people around us, without a positive step to initiate consistent actions, that will bring those motivations to reality. It might be a wasted effort. Now, coming to this write-up, I agree with you. We need serious inner strength to overcome fear of the unknown and being too comfortable in our comfort zone. These are two things I found out do hold humans hostage from breaking forth with their good ideas, including meooo. Sometimes I struggle with these two things, but most times, once I win them in any situation before me, boom, I cross over. !ALIVE !BBH

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, @cagolistic. I'd gently add one thing, I don't think we should depend on motivation very much, because it rises and falls with our mood and/or our circumstances. What the science of human behavior shows, and what I've in my coaching career, is that small behaviors help us to stay consistent, and consistency is what takes us far.
I also appreciate your honesty about fear of the unknown and the pull of the comfort zone, we all wrestle with those two, me included. And a tiny first step is often the easiest way to win that inner battle you described, then you cross over, one small step at a time.
