This post is going to the Photo-essay community Hive-14396. The requirements are at least 5 photos taken with your mobile device and 150 words to tell your story. It is a friendly photography community. This post is intended to promote the contest, but do not include it as a contest entry.

I am not the best with taking photos with my phone. I have limited use of my left hand and it's often difficult to hold the phone and take the photo without getting things a bit blurred! I much prefer using my camera. These are my 5 photos taken recently. I'm looking forward to seeing yours!

This large dragonfly didn't sit still on the roses for very long, and unless you are paying attention it tends to blend in with the foliage!

The colorful basket all artificial flowers on the handlebars of this bicycle captured my attention. I hope the rider is able to see over all the flowers

Don't you love the way squirrels hold their 'hands' together? They have been feasting on the millions of cicadas that hatched here recently. The camera zoom worked pretty well here.

Ivy on this turret window. I always imagine there is a window seat and someone is sitting up there reading a book! That's what I would be doing if that was my window.

One thing I find very interesting about squirrels is that when they stop at one place for a few moments, they become as still as a statue and then as soon as they move, they move so fast that you don't even realize and they disappear. 😅 You really live in a very beautiful place. There is a different smell of freshness in every picture. :) Thank you for promoting our contest. If this post was in the contest entries then its victory would have been confirmed. 😊❤️

My humble opinion is that the photos are very well taken, your says that you have a small limitation, but the work is excellent. I love the photo of the dragonfly, as you say, it camouflages very well, the wings look perfectly, I like the post. I wish you a happy day

I hope those are "legal" roses 😜 I had a bay window when I lived in Minneapolis. Wow that was 25 years ago. Where does the time go? I look back and I didn't spend enough time sitting in that window reading.

Still on a dilemma of not seeing photos despite the show images option is on and can't upload photos as well (thus joining these photography contests impossible for me)... despite not seeing them, I'm imagining beautiful photos that you just shared in this post.

I sometimes wonder if you live in heaven (images are so beautiful ❤️). The turret window image looked like the castle tower where princess Rapunzel (from tangled) was imprisoned.

Yes, you are very good at taking photos, I love how they all capture the beauty of nature. My favorites are the first two photos. But I fell in love with the photograph of the squirrel, it looks very cute!
