What a nice gift

IMG_20240427_202454.jpg

A few days ago my husband came back from Hamburg, from the Hive Meetup called BuzzParty Hamburg 2024. I knew I could not go this time to meet other Hivers, which is always a great experience, but I sent some little painted rocks to two users I had already met in real life last year.

However, being a Hiver and having my husband there I also got some cool Hive goodies (thanks to the good organization of @tibfox) and a personal gift:

The black T-shirt is my size and the black cloth bag with the red letters is also my size... I declared it mine actually, as a bag is a bag and could be used by anyone but I am the one who likes them more than my husband so the answer to the question of who will use them is clear. The little Hive notebook is cute as well as the pens. We can certainly share that, I wouldn't be so greedy and grab it all for myself... would I?

And do you see one little transparent package full of pebbles... there, on the top of the black cloth bag?

Here is a closer photo of it.

I immediately knew what it was, although its appearance can deceive us. You can think they are pebbles for my new addiction hobby, however, they are rock-shaped candies! :))

We already tried them and ate a few rocks from this gift that @ninaeatshere sent me. A big thank you 🤗. But you and this gift made me want to do a prank. 😂 To pretend in some public place that I am eating real rocks and offer passers-by to try that too, but on second thought it wouldn't be a good example because I am sure some people would get it wrong and even try the real ones from the beach... They would blame me for the broken teeth... Dentists will be happy with more work though.😁

That idea was ditched as I didn't want to show a bad example even if it would be fun... in any case, talking about examples or promoting the best platform - I took this new Hive bag to our walk today!

IMG_20240427_202146.jpg

The person you see in the mirror is me, carrying the Hive bag on my shoulder. Too bad the mirror was placed much higher than I am so the reflection is tiny - barely can be seen. When we sat on one bench to rest a bit, I took a better photo, the proof that our new and loved cloth bag took this walk with us.

IMG_20240427_191626.jpg

On the same bench, I ate one loquat. It was small but sweet - almost the same sweet as the rock-shaped candies that Nina sent me. Btw, my husband's bag was checked at the airport... maybe they thought these candies were other things. 😅

Loquat - after my intervention...

After this stage, I made half of the loquat disappear too and we continued the walk.

It was a nice one (the walk), around one part of the town called El Romeral. Well, it is located between two municipalities, with some forests around, orange plantations and very nice houses and clean streets.

IMG_20240427_201941.jpg

Unfortunately, not all the plots were this clean as you see here in the photos. In one part, by the road, there was a lot of garbage. When we see such a thing it makes us wonder why people can't take care better of their garbage... Do they throw empty cans and plastic bags out of the car window while driving; or it was the wind that blew the empty bottles and cans there, from a bin?

IMG_20240427_201810.jpg

Whatever the reason is, people litter out of negligence or there are other reasons why garbage ends up in nature, we came to the topic of one of the activities my husband did with the other Hivers in Hamburg. It was the cleaning up activity they did on one beach in Hamburg.

They had some devices - garbage sticks to help them with the task. He said these sticks were really useful and precise, that even a cigarette butt or small, thin pieces of cellophane or plastic could be easily picked. It was an interesting activity but it is alarming why more and more garbage ends up in nature... We should definitely stop littering around... and try as much as possible to preserve the landscapes like this one!

It is also a gift we got from this world. 😉

I thought they were real pebbles you got from a fan 😅. Does the candy come in different flavors?

Seems like you took almost all the gifts your husband brought from the event for yourself 😅.

Lovely post!... Hive's world is beautiful indeed! ;)... And that nispero (here we call it "japanese nispero") looks delicious, many years ago there was a plant in our house, but it dried up :(... Thanks for sharing, happy week!

Wow does it look like a super experience ❤️ Hey! The stones look very realistic!

  • @rafzat(71)· 857d

You didn’t attend the Buzzparty but you were able to get some gifts that has the Hive logo and those rocks too I’m glad you loved then Kudos to your husband!

  • @avdesing(80)· 857d

What beautiful gifts! But I won't eat a stone hahaha I said to myself.... I ate a stone and then... it hit me.

But for sure someone on the beach would try it, there are people who do hahaha

On the other hand, usually everything is clean but sometimes... not. Anyway, Spain is super clean compared to other countries... you have no idea what I've seen!

  • @gabrielatravels(79)· 857d

Oh man.. now I want friends like yours, lol!! Would die to have some of these on my own!

  • @jane1289(76)· 857d

Surely, the sender of the pebbles knew that you like collecting pebbles hehe.. I remember your article regarding that. I love the hive bag, btw 😍

  • @shamis(68)· 857d

Pebble candy story is just interesting. As you said the dentist profession would boom if anybody tried it in beach. Nice gifts from Nina through your hubby. Abive all nice place to walk through

  • @nanixxx(76)· 857d

All those gifts are so cute that you should keep them all! And the loquat looks good after your intervention. 😉

When I saw the sweet stones (hahaha, I never thought I would say this) the first thing I thought is that there are curious things in the world. Oh, I'm always like a little kid amazed with everything, even the simplest things. 🤷‍♀

  • @soyunasantacruz(78)· 857d

    What delicious stones, hehehe

I would have liked to see the result of the joke, but you can do it with the neighbours or the family.

    @mipiano 😂😊

  • @pinero(66)· 857d

Oh oh ..I am now afraid about people trying to eat my marble sculptures jajaja...

  • @djbravo(75)· 857d

These are small stones like this, they are very special. I myself collect them whenever I go to this river. I also wish to meet all those people with whom I have a long life I have been working for a long time.

  • @mdrguez(69)· 857d

What a nice touch to send you a gift from the meeting. And the bag...it was definitely for you!!! XD

How original those rock shaped candies!!!! The idea of the prank is great 🤣, but...better not to do it, though...if you were to become a dentist? 🤔 Good deal!!! 😜🤣

The garbage problem is a serious thing. In our country that is a big problem, especially the bad environmental education of the people and the lack of actions of the entities in charge. Yesterday Eddyss published a post about this topic. You will be surprised to see what the bad weather takes out of the sea and throws it to the shore.

Nice and necessary activity the hivers did on that beach in Hamburg.

  • @pumarte(67)· 857d

Those meetup are really fun! And your husband sure really enjoyed it , I wonder if you know about some other Hiver living in Cayman islands or I'm the only one 😅😅

Good job señorita Mipiano de las rocas de caramelo 🤗

  • @duskobgd(75)· 857d

You got wonderful gifts from Hamburg from your husband and Nina (he's an honest guy, he didn't take the gifts they sent you for himself, OK, I don't think he'd use a woman's shirt, but this purse suits a man too, doesn't it?) 🙂

When we were kids we ate "rock candy". I remember the fun we made while walking around Belgrade's Ada Ciganlija lake. Several of our friends had rock candies in their hands, and when a group of people came by, one of us would bend down, say out loud: "What a wonderful stone I found", allegedly pick it up and put it in his mouth and swallow it. I remember, people looked in disbelief 😁

Tell me, please, did you pick that loquat somewhere along the way or did you buy it at the market? It's a Japanese and Chinese fruit, and it's only available in Spain in the spring? Does it last or is it available in the markets until the middle of June?

  • @bigeyes2012(66)· 857d

Hmmm I really thought its a pebbles. Cutie candies

  • @livinguktaiwan(81)· 857d

The notebook and pen looks very nice!

That's so sweet of @ninaeatshere. Have you considered painting these rocks with edible paints or icing pens?

  • @evelynchacin(79)· 857d

Qué geniales regalos. Los caramelos de piedra están divertidos y lindos jaja. Yo me quedaría con todo jajaja 😂😂 nada para mi esposo jaja ok broma. Ohh tenía tiempo sin ver un níspero. Saludos! ❤️❤️

  • @ninaeatshere(75)· 857d

Yeiiih What a pleasure to read that you liked the gift hahahaha the idea of puzzling people by offering them can be fun, but better with a guest at home than on the street. Hahaha

How crazy that they checked his suitcase, I hope the ingredient label was helpful in clearing up any doubts, wow I didn't think of that possibility.

I'm also super happy with the Hive merch, it's great to be able to use elements that promote blockchain.

  • @ceciliajess(75)· 857d

What nice gifts. Wao! I had never seen a candy shaped like a stone, they really are very good for a joke jjj On the other hand I totally agree with what to take more care of nature, daily I see the little conscience of many people and the truth is that I do not understand it, it is very nice our house and we should love it like nothing else 🌎❤

  • @travoved(68)· 857d

You should do this prank somewhere near dentist's cabinet 😁

  • @jacey.boldart(73)· 857d

ha ha... .I thought you had been gifted pebbles for your new addiction too, till you said they were edible and I wondered what flavor rocks would be.

    Such nice gifts !
