What a joy it is to be back in this beautiful "FeatheredFriendsCommunity"! I truly love Thursdays, as that is the day we take part in this wonderful "Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest", sharing the photographs and videos that my grandmother captures throughout the week.

The truth is that it has been raining quite a bit over the last two weeks, and when it rains, birds rarely come to visit us. Fortunately, however, we have had a few days without rain, and this beautiful species arrived to grace us with its beauty.

These beautiful birds don't visit us as often as other species do; they only show up once or twice a year, and whenever they do, we spend our time watching them. They are small birds, and were it not for their colors, they might go unnoticed. It has been wonderful to see them and to be able to film them.
