More Goals, More Fun! .:. MyHiveGoals 2025

Before you begin to judge me why #MyHiveGoals are so "low" hear me out... 🙂 Firstly, I needed some additional time to create my new goals for 2025, as I wanted to adapt them to the market circumstances, expectations this year, but also my free time, my focus on specific HIVE-related things, etc.

Secondly, I don't shoot these numbers out just like that... Behind every number, there is a calculation, expectation, and additional "bonus" on top that should motivate me to push a bit harder over my "comfort zone"...

But, what are you talking about Ph? Your HivePower goal has the same growth as you had in 2024... Where is the snowball effect that you were talking about?

Well, we are in the crypto cycle where things could go ballistic... As a matter of fact, HIVE just showed how fast it can go up in a very short time, even before other cryptos did anything! Yes, I do believe in the snowball effect, but I also believe that wealth is built in the bear markets... With this price of HIVE (or higher), there is no chance that I can do my 1K power-ups as I was doing in 2024! In the same way, a higher price of HIVE will attract more bloggers (which is good for the long term) which means that despite author rewards looking juicy in USD, they will mean fewer HIVE tokens as rewards will be spread among more participants...

This year, I'm expecting that a lot of HIVE Whales and Orcas will power down some of their stakes and take some profits... Even at these moments, if you check the Hive Witness list, you will see that ONLY 5 of the Top 20 witnesses are NOT powering down! While it can sound scary for some, I see that as an opportunity to "shuffle the cards"... Those tokens will go out on the market, someone will buy them, and we could have a new whale in the building, or a "diamond hand" HODLer!

If we go back to the story about rewards, because of powers down, the curation rewards of those who will keep their HivePower intact should grow! I know that this year will be tempting to power down and take profits (ALREADY IS!), especially as I bought a nice chunk of HIVE under 20c earlier... But, I will try to ignore the noise and continue growing my HP! Not at the same "percentage-wise" pace as last year, but still a very relevant accumulation...

Because of all that, and mostly because of bull market expectations, I have decided to add the Staked HBD goal to my yearly list! This goal will probably "eat" some of my HIVE that I would usually power up... During the last year, I converted most of my HBD author rewards in HIVE and powered up on #HivePUD-s... This year, I will not do that... I will try to take some of my author rewards (HBD) and put them into savings... Speaking of the snowball effect, it should work out well in the HBD example as of 15% APR on savings...

Also, during the last year, I was converting my Hive-Engine token profits into HivePower... This year, I will try to convert most of those tokens into the HBD, and make them work for my Staked HBD goal! You will notice that I don't have staked HBD on this account, but I'm doing that on my gaming account (diversifying risk 🙂).

The 3rd, MAIN goal for this year will be the number of LIVE Hive Meetups that I plan to attend during 2025! This is very hard to "predict" as I have no idea if there will be as many meetups as I imagined... 😃 I will try to attend at least 5 (bigger) meetups this year!! For now, I know about 2 that SHOULD happen this year, and the rest 3, we will see... If you plan to organize one, don't forget to send me an invitation... 🙂 Help me to reach this goal! 😃

In 2024, I attended 2 big meetups, #BuzzParty in Hamburg and #HiveFest in Split... Along with that, I organized a meetup in Novi Sad last summer, and I had at least two smaller meetups in Spain (Zaragoza and Madrid)... It is kind of 5 meetups, but I hope we will have more events like the first two that I mentioned, with 10+ (or more) Hivians in one place! Of course, I like smaller meetups and I will try to attend those too...

Gaming Goals

These are goals that I will try to keep more flexible and keep them as pure fun... As I enjoy playing Rising Star, I will do a similar goal as I did last year... My Rising Star goal for 2025 will be to reach 70K cards... It is over 10K more than I did last year, and almost DOUBLE what I have now... I will have to stretch a bit more to get there... But, it should be fun...

To make things more interesting, I have decided to add one more gaming goal! I'm not sure how many of you know, but I'm also playing the Golem Overlord game, almost from their launch... I had no idea how it worked for the first few weeks, and probably because of that, I dropped in rankings at the beginning... At the moment I'm ranked at 386th place, and it's not that easy to progress up as others are pushing hard too! My Golem Overlord goal for 2025 will be to reach at least the 350th position in the game!

These are my initial numbers and goals for 2025, created on January 5th, 2025...

I guess a few of the powering down witnesses might buy back when it's lower. I read a post where a witness was being blasted for selling over 2 million hive lol and it was hilarious. I think think you don't have much goals. On the contrary your goals are to stay the course and do what you do best. Mine is to stay alive, healthy and perhaps take a little profit if hive enters the 4$ range.

Your goals and plans seem quite reasonable. You should be quite comfortable with buying hive for 20 cents. When the hive price is high, it makes sense to stake HBD. When the hive price drops, it may be profitable to break the staked HBDs and buy hive.

That's a good point, with high price of hive you can't power up and buy the same amount as when 0,2$... But numbers are relative, if hive goes 100$ next December, if you powered up 100 hive during the year, you made the day 😅

That looks like some good goals. Good luck. It's weird to see Hive pump up so much but I don't really blame anyone for taking some profits. I think we should still be building our positions but that might not be the case for the whales.

I have no doubt this is gonna be a crazy year, man. Good luck with your goals and I agree with you. Hive was easy to buy when it was 20 cents, now it's not so easy to buy it when it's 60 cents.

By the way, where do you think the Hive price can go the most in the bull season? I used to have the opportunity to ask you this question on Fridays but now I only ask you here XD

It is so sweet to buy those cheap Hive under $0.2 right? Congrats on taking profit on those buys. I still on my goal, not thinking of powering down and taking profit although it is so tempting to do, but I have to shift my focus from accumulating Hive to stakign HBD instead , because of the current Hive market price, I think we are fairly in the same direction, only I am a lot smaller than yours, hahaha
