What Is Your Favorite Hive Engine Token? Why? .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.12 (Wednesday, January 17, 5 PM UTC)

This is a topic that many people asked me to do in the show... I was hesitating and delaying it as much as I could, because for a few simple reasons... I don't want to convert the show to a "shilling event" where people would drop their tokens and try to convince others to join, because they need someone to buy their bags... Also, anything that is/will be mentioned in the show ISN'T FINANCIAL ADVICE, but despite that, people tend to blindly follow... Now that you know the reasons for my hesitation, we can continue forward...

Because of all the things mentioned above, I have added that short word/question in the title... WHY? It's not there to make your life harder or to make you suffer... 🙂 It is there to remind you about researching BEFORE investing your hard-earned money/crypto... You should never invest into some token just because X person did it, or because Y person said it is a good token... When someone suggests you a token, DYOR (Do Your Own Research) and make YOUR decision if you want to invest, or not...

You don't have to invest, you don't owe anyone a favor to invest, and it's not a "rejection of a friendship" if you don't do it... It is mature thinking and being a responsible person! In the end, you can be wrong or you can be right... Time will tell, but don't fall into a trap that THIS IS IT, there are no other tokens like this one... Now or never... etc. Believe me, in most cases, the decision that you make isn't the one that will solve all your problems in life...

Now that we have all these disclaimers from the beginning covered, we should make a list of "subtopics" for the show... As good, responsible investors, we should know better the underlying platform itself, so we will take some time to talk about the Hive-Engine platform... How safe is it? What are the "powers" that the token creator has? How much is decentralized?

Also, we will talk about the token creation... Is it complicated to create a token, how much is it cost? How much knowledge do you need to run an Outpost (tribe tokens)? Where you can trade Hive-Engine tokens? What is SWAP.HIVE, SWAP.HBD, etc.?

When we have covered the basics, we can go into the second part of the show where you can share your favorite Hive-Engine tokens... As I said at the beginning, it would be great if you would share the REASONS WHY you like certain tokens... Just a couple of questions that we should ask ourselves before investing...

Who are the token creators?
Can we trust them?
Did they have some other tokens/projects on HIVE? How they did do in the past?
How long are they on HIVE?

Sorry if that looks like a police investigation, but you are investing your money in the project, and in a certain way, you are giving away your money to PEOPLE who are standing behind the project... That's why it IS IMPORTANT to ask these questions...

Trading on engine is cool altho it is swarmed with bots for the last half a year or more. I'm not much into those tokens anyway. Gave few some attention and as the time went by choose few basically for fun and as my own token of support towards some projects or people. Engine is interesting for swap.btc, swap.ltc..

It's an interesting topic to go over but I have to say that a lot of Hive Engine tokens don't have much value. Other than that, I think there are only a handful of tokens that are decent.

I'm glad you decided to share this topic in the program because there are people who come to Hive and only know that, I myself took a couple of years to realize the existence of the tokens and accumulated a lot that was sent to me, but I was immersed only in creating content and rewards in HBD, now is that I understand a little more and still there are things I do not know, like who create the tokens and how difficult and reliable it is...

Well, I don't think I can attend tomorrow, but the recaps have helped me a lot and it's good for me because I watch them when I have time 😅

Good questions. Hive tokens can be akin to lending money to friends. Be careful what tokens you do buy and support etc and don't do it out of loyalty!

I'm deeply involved in the second layer tokens. Because this was all my idea..

And it's exploded. Finally after hf26 we ended up making some big moves.

I should have demanded 1% in credit for all my ideas.

However second layer tokens and Diesel pools as well as swaps absolutely are all my ideas unfortunately I just didn't have the ability to create all of this digitally.

However now you absolutely can go buy your own token and turn it into a valuable commodity and sell it worldwide.

Also I have influenced countless projects on hive all the way from the Cannabis group to hivelist.io skatehive and more...

The fact that most people don't even understand what is going on with the second layer tokens or they invest completely emotionally.

Then zerofucks trading. Oh I'm loving the fact I'm trading all these tokens and investing them with staking or pools... And making more.... Sweet..

Although I absolutely am seeing a lot of the tokens that I had emotionally invested ending up having no volume and absolutely no price.

That's the thing is if you're not using these tokens the price is going to drop.

Then like the Leo token. I'm keeping trading that one only for the price support while I'm pulling out and cashing that one in. Or id have lost a huge amount of money. Now Leo is paying me and I'm not making a lot, but I'm not losing my ass....

More people need to start trading and making more .. that are scared when it's not that hard!

In fact, most of HIVE Engine tokens are junk to me. However, I can say mine is PAY token as I have staked more than 3 million 😄 Also, its price sometimes are pumped and my wallet's value goes up somewhat $30 :)
