Plans were made, plans were set, Go ahead and make your move. Will you not, or will you strike, Will you take a chance and risk it all? Too scared to lose, too scared to fall? The life known is not a life needed, A life lived, needn't steer the way. The life that you had was worth far less, Than the one you could have if you just let go. Do not settle, do not succumb, Do not slide into their oblivion. Play their game and make the rules, Open doors and break down walls. Be relentless in your pursuit, Of what you know you must do.

    Hey there. I truly relate with this poem, so many people today relent at what they should do or must have done years or months back. Life is full of challenges that poses as a distraction, when we stay focused and determined, and keep our eyes and mind on the set up goals then we would achieve our wins.

    I especially relate to this line: "be relentless in your pursuits, of what you know you must do."

    What a great reflection of the game that is life! This poem puts me in front of the chessboard: 'plans were made,' but true mastery comes in 'making your move.' Play defense, 'too scared to fall,' or 'attack' and 'risk it all' for a winning position? We are not simply pieces moved by fear, but 'setting the rules,' 'opening doors and knocking down walls.' A call to checkmate inertia and reclaim that 'life we ​​could have,' being 'relentless' in the pursuit of our best game. Checkmate.

    Been playing it safe for way too long and getting nowhere. Time to stop making excuses and actually go for what I want. Thanks for the reminder, comfort zones are just prisons we build ourselves.

    There are different periods in life. And I hope that in the future, I will make the right decisions, especially financial decisions. Now I live much more modestly than a few years ago.

    Looking outside from the window can sometimes be enjoyable and sometimes sad. Sometimes we look outside when we have very intense emotions. Sometimes intense emotions occur after looking outside. It is more enjoyable to look outside when the weather is rainy.

    Human life swings between "fear of failure" and "allure of possibility." We should not forget that the so-called freedom is also accompanied by the burden of choice. While executing a plan requires courage, it is equally burdened by uncertainty. So, it comes down to the question of how committed we are despite that uncertainty. The duality of life demands prudence and courage to navigate and defeat indecision.

    I always liked the saying that you can fail at doing the things you don't want to just as well as the ones you do. So why not take a risk and chase what really speaks to you instead of wasting your days doing what others/the world expects you to do?

    Your poem makes me think of this :)
