Haskell Public Gardens

Good Morning and have a great day Today I am sharing a few shots from a visit to the Haskell Gardens here in New Bedford

These were taken a few weeks back on a visit there, I have bene out taking my early morning walks and photos, as for those I have my camera on a tripod, and am looking at the screen on my camera not thriough the eye piece viewfinder, and witht he cinjunctivitus and swollen eye IU have bene limiting my time looking at a coumputer screen and just grabbing some photos I have already edited and not shared and preparing a post

I am preparing this for a week from today so I am hoping by then my eye willbe all good and the antibiotics and oitment have cleared it up, this morningits a lot less swollen and feeling better so I think I am on the right track but will limit my time on the computer

Starting with thei colorful greenhouse to colorful to reist taking a few photos of every time I visit there

A little bit about the gardens The late Allen C. Haskell, a lifelong New Bedford resident and famed horticulturist, assembled these six acres—the site of a traditional New England-style common, beautiful historic gardens, and one of the oldest homes in the city—over more than 30 years. Today, it’s a public park and unlikely botanical respite, blooming in the heart of New Bedford. It is supported by a Group called the Trustees who maintain many parks in the area
