Vlog 399: Steemhunt drops a bombshell. A possible better return on investment than bid-bots can offer on delegated Steem.

Bid-bots business model is to give passive investors the best return on investment possible in STEEM.

This is the reason why so many investors delegate to them. You passively get a 15-18% return and that's it, you don't have to do anything else.

I have always said that to compete with bid-bots, projects on the Steem Blockchain will need to find a way to offer a better return than bid-bots.

Investors will chase the better return and will simply delegate from bid-bots to these new projects.

But this is a lot easier SAID than DONE.

Yet it appears Steemhunt has found a way and it will all start from the 8th of April. Here.

I talk about it more in my blog.

I'm confused, this is beyond the share of the beneficiary rewards?

  • @littergirl(24)· 2705d

    hi

  • @sergiomendes(77)· 2705d

Man I'm such a noob. I really need an advice. I was thinking about delegating 5k SP to some project. I know it is not a lot so probably no matter the project I will be delegating this amount the return will not be amazing... What would be your advice??? Do it? Keep holding it? Delegate to a project that I want to support just because?? Would really love some advice 👍😉

I have removed my delegation to them over a dispute over a legitimate hunt that they chose to de-list. Their arguments for doing so were rather weak, even though I was well within their rules. While I am glad that they are doing what you mentioned in your blog, I am reluctant to endorse them again after such a bad experience.

Very exciting news! I'm glad that someone finally found a way to take power away from bid bots. I am also excited because I have more then 14,000 SteemHunt Tokens. I worked very hard on that dapp from September to the beginning of this year.

If this is true then the blogging aspect becomes less relevant unless you are a hard core old style person. I have seen several large holders recently have a diluted vote due to delegations that show a return.

How long is all this what are are doing now going to last? I used SH ages ago and had a look at my wallet.. I do have a few..

  • @jay1234(25)· 2707d

    to good

  • @dmilliz(73)· 2707d

Yup after watching the interview with @project7 by @cryptospa I instantly delegated to them. Steemhunt is paving a new path.

the dapps team are coming with interesting ideas this will be great for investors and the development all around

  • @newageinv(74)· 2707d

Totally agree with you and the great thing is that the projects like Steemhunt are adding more value tot he ecosystem as they attract outside communities to join while others are more internally focused for promotions. I think this will bring a great balance and lead for others to do the same down the road.

i'm so glad you GET it ;) -- that's why i went in on this at the start. i can't wait to record a video about this at some point. so much legacy/history about the platform ;)

  • @diogosantos(62)· 2707d

Bring it on, I´m quite bored of bidding bots, I never hated them, but I just don´t use them anymore... So this would allow a better ROI and probably grab my interest.

  • @cryptoandcoffee(85)· 2707d

Hi exyle. totally agree with you and more people should start paying attention to what is actually happening around them. Steemhunt is quietly going about their business and are doing rather well. They have created huge awareness for themselves and Steem with their IEO which is a win win for all of us on here.

  • @chesatochi(73)· 2707d

It is a good experiment to see in action if people will switch their delegation toward Steem Hunt in the near future. Also, we can feel your passion and excitement in your body language. ;)

Super cool to follow these developments.

    Another cool thing:

Your video wouldn’t work with Steemit.com so I switched to Steempeak.com and not only did it work great but I can watch the video in the preview page of my feed!

No need to even open the page completely!

  • @partiko(66)· 2707d

Thank you so much for participating in the Partiko Delegation Plan Round 1! We really appreciate your support! As part of the delegation benefits, we just gave you a 3.00% upvote! Together, let’s change the world!

  • @ajorundon(63)· 2707d

Maybe both will be strive together on the platform

  • @cardboard(65)· 2707d

20%, pretty nice but as someone pointed out, part of it will be in HUNT tokens so a lot depend it`s price.

  • @themonetaryfew(58)· 2707d

A feather on your cap, hunter!

  • @flipstar(72)· 2707d

Their way of rewarding investors relies on paying with their tokens. But if investors want a real return and will cash out the HUNT tokens, it will lower the price, reducing the ROI. It's a vicious cycle, not so sure about it.

  • @jongolson(82)· 2707d

this is one of those dapps on steem that i’ve been completely ignorant about. i see how much excitement is surrounding it but i just can’t wrap my head around it.

it’s amazing what they have accomplished tho and i think their such an awesome success story because they focused on their community and delivering an exceptional product.

now that your got me interested in it, i have to do my homework on it lol thanks for the update on it man. appreciate the heads up.
