The Portal

Vertigo Warning - this is another post where people who suffer from vertigo may want to skip as it is looking up shots

For this post I will share some shots of a building that I call the portal, it is at 135 East 57th NYC

Now from this first shot you may wonder why I call it the portal, it is an interesting building with the curved street-front shape, but when I step back from this view and lookup again you can perhaps see why to me it looks like a sort of portal from a SciFi movie.

Now you are either agreeing me thinking especially in Mono it does kind of look like a portal, or you have just confirmed that I am nuts LOL

Its been a little while since I did a post for the looking up challenge that has been started by @melinda010100 and @pixelfan, so this will be an entry for that challenge as well

And finishing off with a similar point of view but a different shot this time in color

    Wow straight up to the stars! It does look like a portal, we've been shown them so many times in different sci fi movies, star trek, stargate, etc. All the windows like doors to other worlds. Fantastic photos @tattoodjay! How is your neck? :-)
