Sketchbook: Un Alma azulada.Lección #1
Hola a todos ! Esta vez les compartiré además de una ilustración, una lección aprendida!
La mayoría de los dibujantes tienen sus famosos sketchbooks (libros de bocetos). Es un espacio y momento especial para el trazo simple y espontáneo que puede convertirse en un arte complejo, significativo y hasta terapéutico. Así que decidí diseñarme el mío ( pero esa historia se las compartiré en otro post ;)
Este dibujo lo hice para un reto de arte con otros amigos. Teníamos que elegir nuestro color favorito como el protagonista de nuestro dibujo. Me encanta toda la paleta de azules y violeta... pero mi alma es muy azulada y como ya les había comentado en otro post que amo los insectos (no aplica para las cucarachas :D... Dibujé mariposas y escarabajos porque la metáfora y ese simbolísmo especial y trascendental que tienen es perfecto para mi y muy oportuno para esa ocasión. Antes se me hacía muy difícil ser más espontánea y relajada a la hora de dibujar, siempre quería dibujar cosas que me tomaran mucho tiempo y en formatos más grandes y nunca me sentía satisfecha, incluso terminaba sufriendo dolores en el brazo, mi mano y mis dedos, cuello... suena extraño pero me torturaba con algo que debía ser pacífico y reconfortante. Con el tiempo aprendí que no siempre debo hacer dibujos muy rebuscados y complejos, a veces en la simplicidad de un trazo, de un punto, hay calma y también hay belleza. Solo hay que fluir !
Estoy segura que todos hemos aprendido lecciones haciendo lo que amamos y lo que no amamos tambien,y detrás de esas experiencias siempre hay un color predominante.

Hello everyone ! This time I will share in addition to an illustration, a lesson learned!
Most illustrators have their famous sketchbooks . It is a special space and moment for simple and spontaneous strokes that can become in something complex, meaningful and even therapeutic art. So I decided to design mine (but that story I will share in another post ;)
I made this drawing for an artchallenge with other friends. We had to choose our favorite color as the protagonist.I love the whole palette of blues and purple, but my soul is very bluish. In my previous posts I told you I love insects (cockroaches doesn't apply :D...So I drew butterflies and beetles because their metaphor and trascendental symbolism is perfect for me and very opportune for that occasion. Before, I found it very difficult be more spontaneous and relaxed when drawing; I always wanted to draw things that would take me more time, in larger formats and never felt satisfied, I even ended up suffering pain in my arm, hand, fingers, neck... It sounds weird but I tortured myself with something that had to be peaceful and comforting. In time, I learned that I should not always do very elaborated and complex drawings. Sometimes in the simplicity of a stroke, of a point... There is calm and also beauty.
I'm sure that we have all learned lessons by doing what we love and what we don't love too, and behind those experiences there is always a predominant color. We just have to flow!
