Fujii Kaze's music has always been a deep comfort to me. Through all my ups and downs, his songs have always been there to cheer me up during my darkest times.
From the year 2022 all the way to the present. Not a single day goes by that I don't listen to his songs (well... more like my favorite songs of his)
I’ve already expressed my love for his work in this blog before. I used to lean more toward his ballads than his upbeat tracks, though his upbeat songs have really grown on me over time and I want to share his song that I’ve been listening to lately
"I Need U Back." Kaze explained that "I Need U Back" is about wanting his creative passion to return after feeling lost and unable to produce music. I really felt that. As a painter, I’ve also lost my way. Every day, I wish the fire inside my passion would light up once again, and I long for that motivation back in my life. Slowly, I’m working on painting again for a comeback but this time, without the pressure. I’m simply taking my time to paint what I truly want.
There is a specific line in the lyrics that says:
"Now is not the time to die, I must be alive."
These words feel like a gentle push and a boost of confidence I need to give myself, just a reminder that its time to feel alive again, thus I need u back!
