Technology is advancing rapidly; different companies are constantly releasing new models with more and better features, which often force us to upgrade our devices, since the ones we currently own are falling behind—even when they’re still fully functional.
I’d had my last phone (the Tecno Spark 30 Pro) for a year and six months, and although I saw various models that caught my eye, I didn’t make it a priority because I had other things to take care of—and especially because it was still fully functional. But when things are meant to be, they just happen.
On Sunday, when I woke up, my husband had already come home from work and mentioned that he’d brought me a gift; that gift was a new cell phone—and it was exactly the one I wanted. Here’s my new smartphone, the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G; honestly, I wasn’t expecting this amazing surprise.
This device, considered a mid-to-high-end smartphone, was launched in the early months of this year by Infinix. Among its standout features are its AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, and support for magnetic wireless charging. For those who want to know all its specs, here’s the link to the official Infinix Latin America website.
What I particularly love about this device is its 6,000 mAh battery, 90 W charging, and the Active Matrix display, which—in addition to animal animations—can be customized in various ways. I’m still learning how to use it, but so far my favorite feature is that it lets me see the battery charge percentage.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G is available in five colors, and my husband chose the blue one for me. As for what’s in the box, in addition to the phone itself, it includes a key to open the SIM card tray, an acrylic screen protector, and the manuals; also at the bottom of the box are the 90 W charger and its fast-charging cable.
As you can see in some of the photos, I’ve already bought a case for it—a 360° case, to be precise. I like to take good care of my devices, since these days a phone isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity for communicating with family and friends, for carrying out various tasks, and, for content creators, it’s a work tool.
If I compare the camera specs to my previous phone, the current selfie camera is 13 MP—the same as the previous one—and the main camera is 50 MP (it can record in 4K); the previous one was 108 MP. Obviously, it runs Android 16, and the audio system features JBL speakers.
In short, this new device will help me in my day-to-day life and enable me to create more high-quality content, as well as stay in touch with my loved ones. I’ll sign off now, looking forward to reading your comments.
