Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. If I recall correctly, most of my matches against Schoolteacher ended in defeat. Schoolteacher is one of those decks that can kill you at turn five. Most of the time, when I am about to kill a Schoolteacher opponent in turn 6 or 5.5 mana, the combo takes effect and kills me.

But this time, I was able to survive the onslaught of Schoolteacher, mainly because I still had 25 HP left when the Schoolteacher combo took effect. I was also able to reduce the HP of my opponent's god to 5 before the combo, and I was able to keep three creatures on my board that I buffed with Chieftain's Fury

Another notable win that I posted in this edition of Daily Play and Earn is against a Divine Coronet deck. With the wins from Schoolteacher and Divine Coronet, I also posted a 7-3 win-loss record, with three wins coming from Solar Gold.

Since my win against Schoolteacher is more impressive than the Divine Coronet win, I decided it would be my featured match for this edition of Daily Play and earn, and also because I was able to record the game against the LiTD Divine Coronet.

In Mulligan, I am always looking for my 1 mana cards to play on the first turn.

My opponent did not play any cards on the first turn. I played Tavern Brawler.

My opponent played Librarian's Prayer. I went face, I played my second Tavern Brawler.

My opponent played The Trial Begins. I played Blade of Styx, and I went face.

My opponent played Warp Engineer, Sightseeing Stone, and Morgana's Grimoire. I played Wood-cutter Imp and Chieftain's Fury. I went face and reduced my opponent's god's HP to 5.

My opponent went face with Warp Engineer and played his Schoolteacher Combo, reducing my god's HP to 6. I played Chieftain's Fury, I went face, and it was GG.
