Daily Grind #124 - It is Ridiculous, I am being Matched-up with a Mythic

Greetings!

Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. This edition of daily play-and-earn was all good (including my losses from a good game and a loss due to my mistakes). But what angers me is that I am being matched up with a Mythic (I am in Auric Gold). I knew that a deck competing in Mythic is elite. It happens a couple of times now. I did let go the first time, but the second time made me angry.

I already forgot if I won against the first one, I got the victory against this one, against Irina Death, thanks to Chieftain's Fury. It is a good thing that my creatures snowballed before drew Chieftain's Fury. With the snowballing and Chieftain's Fury, it would have been a different story. Before Chieftain's Fury, I brought down the HP of my opponent's god to 12, but he healed to more than twenty because of Dread cards from my deck.

Mulligan

In the mulligan I made sure that I got 1-2 mana card that I can play on the first turn.

1 Mana

I played Valka's Captain. My opponent killed Valka's Captain and played Bomb Fly.

2 Mana

I played Warmonger Smith, and I killed Bomb Fly. My opponent played Brood Parasite.

3 Mana

I played Tartessian Battlemage, and I went face. My opponent played Deepwater Whelp and Sweet Surrender on his Brood Parasite.

4 Mana

I killed the frontline that was summoned by the Brood Parasite, and I went face. My opponent played Encumbered Looter, Brimstone, and Bomb Fly.

5 Mana

I went face, and I played Flamecaller that I got from the Sanctum. My opponent killed Tartessian Battlemage.

5.1 Mana

I played Kaori and Skollkin Valkerie. I went face. My opponent played Kai, Untold Greed, and Ragnarok. My opponent conceded and it was GG.
