BIENVENIDO A MI RINCÓN
Buenos días, lectores de Hive.
Hoy comienza una nueva semana y con ella las responsabilidades del día a día; sin embargo, quería tomarme un espacio para mis redes sociales, incluyendo Hive. La semana pasada fue de corredera. Estuve dos días en Caracas; luego comencé a trabajar en una empresa nueva, así que esos tres días que quedaban de la semana los aproveché bastante. Salí temprano a trabajar días con poco sol y otros con mucho. Llegaba muy cansada; sin embargo, intentaba hacer todo lo que corresponde al oficio del hogar. No pude postear tanto.
>Good morning, Hive readers. A new week begins today, bringing with it the usual daily responsibilities; however, I wanted to make some time for my social media, including Hive. Last week was a whirlwind. I spent two days in Caracas, then started a new job, so I really made the most of the remaining three days of the week. I headed out early for work—some days with little sun, others with a lot—and would come home exhausted. Even so, I tried to keep up with all my household chores. I wasn't able to post very much.
El día viernes hice un recorrido por la zona más movida de los valles del Tuy; la verdad es que es muy productiva. Como queda un poco lejos, no desayunamos para llegar más temprano. Nos comimos unas empanadas; no sabía mal, pero tampoco estaba tan buena. Luego seguimos trabajando y caminamos. Conseguimos un lugar donde venden globos buenos y económicos, así que se los compré a mi hermana para su cumpleaños. También fuimos a preguntar por una gallina, pero no había; entonces un Sr. me va a dar una.
>On Friday, I toured the busiest part of the Valles del Tuy area; it really is a very productive place. Since it’s a bit of a drive, we skipped breakfast so we could get there earlier. We had some empanadas; they didn't taste bad, but they weren't exactly great either. Afterward, we continued working and walking around. We found a place that sells good, affordable balloons, so I bought some for my sister’s birthday. We also went to ask about a hen, but there weren't any available; however, a gentleman is going to give me one.
El día sábado salí a comprar proteína. Que no teníamos en la casa. Fuimos a Punto Mayor, que es donde nos resulta más comprar ahora. Luego fuimos mi esposo y yo a donde mi mamá y pasamos todo el día. Ya que mi hermana vino a visitar, le hicimos una torta; llevó su trabajo, pero quedó muy linda. Mi esposo le regaló un cuadro de un personaje que le gusta a ella; se llama el mismo, se lo dibuja y pinta ella. Ella estaba muy feliz.
Al día siguiente, domingo, mi esposo fue a pintarle una mesa a mi mamá. Como el día de hoy es feriado, estábamos un poco más relajados; compramos unas hamburguesas para compartir. Y pasarla bien con la familia; afortunadamente, todo salió bien, aunque el día de hoy es dormir; debo hacer algunos videos para mi canal de YouTube. Y también preparar todo para el transcurso de la semana.

On Saturday, I went out to buy protein, as we had run out at home. We went to Punto Mayor, which is our most convenient shopping spot these days. Afterward, my husband and I visited my mom and spent the whole day there. Since my sister was visiting, we made a cake for her; it took some effort, but it turned out beautifully. My husband gave her a painting of a character she likes—she actually draws and paints this character herself. She was overjoyed.
>The next day, Sunday, my husband went to paint a table for my mom. Since today is a holiday, we were a bit more relaxed; we bought some burgers to share and enjoyed some quality time with the family. Fortunately, everything went well, though today is mostly for resting; I need to make some videos for my YouTube channel and get everything ready for the week ahead.
