“OMG, What’s That Sound?”
Mid-afternoon is the purr-fect time for a nap, but today NisaBoo opted out in order to hang out in our media room on her hyyge little elephant blankie.
Not long after she settled in, there was a recurring staccato sounding right outside the window. Although you can only see one in the photo, it turns out there were four turkeys right under the window, about three feet away from where NisaBoo sat.
Her ears were dramatically cupped forward, as if to say, “this is my house!” She appeared proud of herself. Those turkeys kept moving along. They didn’t dare come in the house!
Of course, @bitterirony looked up the specific sound that he and kitty heard. It’s called a Putt. And it means NisaBoo wins the day.
With the house all safe & sound under her guard, Cat Daddy and took our stroll, worry-free.
