7-Day Performance Self-Review for my Hive-Blog
Monday 28 September, 2026 -- Back on schedule! This review covers exactly 7 days (from the publication of my last review on Sept 21 to today, Sept 28), so the numbers are fully comparable with the per-day metrics of my previous review.

And yes... this was my best week in about a year!

- Record week - Best earnings in about a year: ~$18.27 (326 HIVE-equivalent) in exactly 7 days
- 18,000 HP milestone - Closing September above 18,000 HP, steadily moving toward the 20,000 HP goal
- Author rewards up 45% per day - More HP and HIVE per day from content vs the previous period
- Consistent content creation - 26 posts + 185 comments in 7 days
- Back on the 7-day schedule - This review covers exactly 7 days, so comparisons are clean
Reflections & Goals:
What Went Well:
- Content is performing significantly better: higher author rewards per post and per day
- The leo.voter subscription continues to pay for itself several times over, thank you for the support!
- HP staking compounding nicely toward 20K
- Review cadence normalized to exactly 7 days
Areas for Improvement:
- Follower growth remains slow (+1 this week vs target of +5)
- Curation rewards are flat despite 247 votes cast - curation trails could be optimized (better timing / rising posts)
- HIVE price still depressed (~$0.056): USD value of rewards would be much higher at better prices
Next Period's Targets:
- Keep 3-4 posts daily
- Grow follower base by 5+ followers
- Try adjusting curation strategy (vote earlier on quality posts) to lift curation rewards
- Reach 18,400+ HP by next review (Oct 5)
- On track for 20,000 HP before year end
Looking Ahead:
This was the strongest week my blog has seen in about a year, and it happened while HIVE is still near its lows - which tells me the improvement is coming from content quality and consistency, not from price. If these per-day rates hold, October should be my best month in a long time. Next milestone: 20,000 HP.
