#1218 - More of Manila Cathedral Shots for Wednesday.

Now for our daily shots one gloomy morning with my wife and after a running exercise at the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus to go jogging. We went to visit the historic walled city of Intramuros.
Our first stop was the beautiful Manila Cathedral. We were by the main entrance which design of the door was massive, old and wooden, looking fascinating. You could clearly see the intricate carvings and the bronze metals that looked ancient. It shows the rich history and culture of the church.
My wife and I took snapped pictures to remember the visit. We took photos of the door to show the details of the wood. Then, we stood side by side in front of the closed cathedral doors to take a selfie.
It is not every day that you get to appreciate a historic landmark like this church without the usual crowd of tourists blocking your view.
After we were done taking photos, we went to the Palacio del Gobernador building which was just nearby. We walked over to take a look at it as well. The building was huge and standing tall right across the plaza. It was a great mix of fitness and sightseeing and we enjoyed every minute of it before driving Chinatown for some street food breakfast.
