PICKING UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF (En - Es)

ENGLISH

Greetings, everyone... welcome to my blog.

The work week is drawing to a close for those who follow a standard schedule. As for me, I am both my own employee and my own boss; my work days and hours are essentially "every day, whenever needed." As I mentioned a few days ago, I am still on bed rest, awaiting medical imaging (X-rays) scheduled for the coming week—God willing.

What has this long period of rest from training—and being largely confined to my home—actually brought me? While it has temporarily kept me away from the physical activities that are so vital to my health, it has also given me plenty of time to organize all the projects that had been on hold before I acquired my new computer equipment.

These projects were paused because I couldn't download the necessary applications; my old hardware used an outdated operating system and components that are no longer supported. Even browser updates were blocked.

Day by day, I’ve been dedicating time to each of these stalled projects, all while keeping up with my regular work. I’ve had to transfer files from one laptop to another, discarding what I no longer need and setting up a new database.

Additionally, I’ve created a physical list of all my pending digital tasks. In a planner, I track what I’ve completed, what is currently in progress, and what still needs to be done—after all, memory can sometimes fail!

Among the first tasks I tackled—which are quite lengthy, tedious, and detail-oriented—is a project I began three years ago on Amazon. It requires me to get up to speed on creating digital illustrations based on my own original physical artwork.

It hasn't been easy, as the free applications I found—which are compatible with PCs and laptops—are quite complex. Consequently, I’ve had to turn to YouTube tutorials and, in effect, take an online course. It requires time and patience, but I have nothing to lose—on the contrary, I’ll gain knowledge in an activity I enjoy.

Once I’ve made some progress in this digital drawing process, I’ll let you know. For now, my mind is completely blown—hahahahaha!

Thanks for visiting my blog; have a great start to your weekend!
