Who Actually Owns Syria's Oil Now? Short answer: not Syria.
A firsthand account just went up on Syria News describing what thirteen-plus years of war bought the Syrian people — an oil sector run for Washington's benefit, a uranium stockpile trucked off to Turkey, garbage disease spreading through cities with no fuel to clear it, and a government of former terrorists signing away what's left of the country for their masters in Tel Aviv.

Worth adding: Syria's so-called allies weren't exactly generous either. Russia and Iran, the two biggest gas and oil producers on earth, kept Damascus on a drip while handing Erdogan's Turkey cut-rate gas and a Russian-financed nuclear plant — even as Erdogan works both sides of the fence against Moscow, from the Turkic world to Ukraine to backing Israel's actions against the Slavic and Orthodox world.
