After a few challenging weeks, I wanted to share that my health is finally starting to stabilize under the care of hematology specialists. To begin my recovery, I needed a blood transfusion 🩸, as it's the fastest way to help my body while it continues healing naturally through rest.
This has been a very difficult episode. I started the month feeling unwell, and on July 9 I was scheduled to receive two units of blood. It was the first time I had ever received two units in a single day, but my doctor considered it the best option based on my condition.
I can honestly say it was an exhausting day. I spent five hours sitting with my right arm completely still while the transfusion was being administered.
It has now been a week since the transfusion 🩸, and my test results came back very good, which my doctor was happy to see.
This week I'll be starting a new treatment, so my recovery journey is still ongoing. 🫂
Hola amigos espero que se encuentren super bien, luego de unas semanas movidas. Les cuento que ya empecé a estabilizar mi salud en compañía de especialistas en hematología. Y para iniciar el proceso amerité transfusión de sangre 🩸 ya que es la forma más rápida de ayudar el cuerpo mientras se recupera de forma natural mediante el descanso.
Este episodio ha sido bastante fuerte porque inicié el mes enferma y el 9 de julio tenía programada la transfusión de 2 unidades de sangre. Fue la primera vez que me colocaban 2 en un mismo día. Pero la doctora consideró mi cuadro para este procedimiento. Les puedo decir que fue una jornada agotadora porque estuve 5 horas sentada con el brazo derecho sin poder moverlo mientras corría la transfusión. Ya cumplí una semana desde que me colocaron la sangre 🩸 y los exámenes salieron muy bien indicó la doctora.
Esta semana debo iniciar un nuevo tratamiento, así que esto aún continúa. 🫂
