A Siquijor escapade (Day 3)

On the 3rd day, I remember this was a Monday because I had an angry old lady calling me on my phone asking me why I wasn't at work and that was because nobody botheredtelling her that I was on holidays. Anyways I had to explain that to her so early XD and my man was getting a kick out of me arguing with my boss over the phone. On the 3rd day we both agreed that we'd only wake up early for breakfast because we liked the hotel breakfast so much then we would sleep some more because the sea was on high tide and the waves were too strong so I feared drowning and being drifted off to sea. I told him I didn't mind watching him swim while I sketched because when he went into the water, just the shore was already at his knees and that was up to my thighs and with waves that strong, I would surely be a goner. But he suggested we just napped because we were both still tired from the shit we did on day 2. But we did agree that on that day we would try the kawa bath in the afternoon ^^ because I wanted to try it so much and he said he would give it a try because it looked really fun. By 3pm, we left the hotel. By 4pm we were already there waiting to get in.

The place was wonderful though, the bath was overlooking one side of the island, it wasn't hot anymore and I was the perfect time to just soak in there.

It was funny though because they gave us giant ladels and I was asking what it was for and they said to stir. So in the 2 hours that we were in thetub, we basically tuned ourselves into soup XD I think the kawa bath really helped him with his phlegm issues because he was coughing everything out immediately after the bath. I think what we had in those kawa baths was just peak relaxation because I swear we both just felt like jelly after that XD and I have no regrets dragging him into that

After that, we went back to the hotel, collapsed on bed for like a good 30 minutes. Thank God he set a timer because if not, we would have skipped dinner and slept the whole night. For dinner that night, we agreed to check the shell museum that was like a 3 minute walk from the hotel. And might I say, the museum was awesome! //:# (!worldmappin 9.14553 lat 123.50808 long d3scr)

This place as probably the biggest shell collection I hav ever seen. The walls were lined with shells plus there were sooo many shell souvenirs and from what the owner told us,the restaurant tied to the place was basically paying the maintenance of the museum itself but there were generous sponsors that givetips through the restaurant or straight to the museum box and I would say it's a nice initiative to do.

The food in there was something else though XD like I know we read the reviews and they said the portions were huge but tat as something else that I had to name he schnitzel plate I ordered Mt. Schnitzel because the serving was just ridiculous ;;-;; so he had to help me finish my food because I was already starting to get full and I wasn't even halfway though my plate. We did finish it then after that we watched friends and fell asleep cuddling and I would say that night was the best sleep we both had in a while and I am now convinced I want to o another kawa bath soon.

And that was day 3 of my Siquijor travels. I have wayyyyyy to many pictures on this trip XD but it was a rally enjoyable and probably the mostmemorable trip I have this year because I'm now dating this man I met on this magical island ^^

Stay tuned to day 4 because that would be the last adventure day we had on the island ^^ Then after that we had other adventures
