A few months ago I launched a fun little concept called HiveHist. Every week a vault with a hidden 4-digit combination opens. You try and guess the combination of the vault and if you guess all 4 correctly, you get the contents. If you don't, the amount rolls over to the next vault and it just continues.
Partial guesses are rewarded too. You can win back half your entry amount, the entire entry amount and more depending on the positioning of the digits in your guess attempts.
The vault is currently sitting at a little over 500 HIVE. I will routinely add to this to make the figure bigger.
Like all provably fair games on Hive, the RNG is computed based off block signatures. The way HiveHist works is that not even I can look to see what the number is at it happens when the vault closes and resolves based on those blocks.
