Well, well, well... the summer days are over and the autumn arrive even if the days are still warm and sunny. Some are saying that instead of four seasons the world is moving towards only two and with the climate changes that might be true. But in the same time I wouldn't mind more summer days spent at the sea. Still life puts a brake on that as we need also to work. And while doing that and realizing that we are in the first day of September, with it the Hive Power Up Day arrived as well. For this one I was putting some liquid Hive aside and didn't stake each day as I was usually doing. It interrupted a bit my routine, but now I have a bit of chunk of Hive that I can power up and officially participate to the HPUD event. So let's go and do it.
In my wallet I had 251.195 HIVE liquid and all of them went on powering up. It is not a crazy amount, but I think the intention matters in this day. This pushed my Hive Power balance to a new high reaching 204,000.153 HP. That's a good number and I think for the end of the year I hope to end up with around 210k Hive Power. Anything on top would be a bonus as it seems that my time shrinks and I need to focus more on work and family. But while I am waiting to start some meetings this morning, for example I stole a bit of time to write this article and simply put my mark in this day where so many community members are doing the same and power up Hive.
While some of us would want crypto to x10 tomorrow, I think that we are still in bearish times and that we have a long way until the tides reverse. What does that mean? It means that we have time to accumulate, curate, earn passively and actively Hive and simply position ourselves much better when the full bull market will be here. Good investments don't happen over night but they require more of a slow cooking approach. And in that time consistency and persistency is key as interrupting the routine will put you a step behind. We don't need to go crazy on engagement, but having a daily routine and being present it is what will matter in the end.
That's about it from me for this Hive Power Up Day event on 1st of September 2026. I did my part and powered up around 250 Hive and I will be amongst the others that will do the same. Being present truly matters and participating in such community events, gives me a good feeling alongside a belonging overall feeling. I think there is substance in the saying "Together we are stronger" and this day just proves that. And another good think that it results from this is that through such power up, more users increase their Hive Power which helps with the governance and the decentralization of Hive.
