**The city's coastal promenade has become one of my favorite places for walking, watching the sunset, and relaxing. A friend and I planned to visit this beautiful part of the city to catch the sunset; we set a date and agreed to meet at the Hernán Marín amphitheater at 5:30 PM to walk along the waterfront and watch the transition from sunset to night. The views from this area are lovely, and there is an observation deck where you can admire the seascape as well as spectacular views of the coastal avenue, with its striking buildings and night lights. The area also features a "bio-park," a padel court, and the amphitheater, among other amenities visited by families on weekends for recreation and leisure.
On the day of our visit, there were many people exercising, walking, and watching the sunset from the observation deck. Before heading to the amphitheater, I stopped by the shopping mall and went to the back section to look at the marina. On a previous visit, I had seen the marina from the breakwater, but I was curious to view the area from the upper level of the mall. The views from the third floor are incredible; you can see yachts and boats, and since I visited in the late afternoon, the sunset created a beautiful landscape. At the rear, the complex features a marina—where several boats are usually docked—that extends toward the breakwater and the side of the Hernán Marín amphitheater. After exploring the third floor and the area facing the beach, I took several photos and headed to the meeting point to join my friend.

**La cinta costera de la ciudad se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares favoritos para hacer caminatas, observar el atardecer y relajarme, con mi amiga, planificamos visitar esta hermosa parte de la ciudad para ver el atardecer, fijado el día, acordamos reunirnos en el anfiteatro Hernán Marín a las 5:30 de la tarde, para hacer una caminata por la orilla de la playa y poder observar el el atardecer y la noche, las vistas desde esta zona de la ciudad son muy bonitas, y em el área se encuentra el mirador, desde el cual tienes la posibilidad apreciar el paisaje marino, las espectaculares vistas de la avenida perimetral con su llamativos edificios y luces nocturnas, este espacio cuenta con bio parque, cancha de pádel, el anfiteatro, entre otros que son visitados por las familia los fines de semana para la recreación y esparcimiento.
El día de nuestra visita, habían muchas personas haciendo ejercicios, caminatas y en el mirador observando el atardecer, antes de ir al anfiteatro pasé por el centro comercial y me dirigí hasta la parte posterior para observar el muelle, en una anterior visita pude ver el muelle desde el rompeolas, pero tenía la curiosidad de ver este espacio desde la parte alta del centro comercial, las vistas desde el tercer piso son increíbles, se observan los yates, botes y como mi visita fue en horas de la tarde, el ocaso del sol crea un hermoso paisaje; en la parte posterior el establecimiento cuenta con un muelle, donde regularmente hay varios barcos, este se extiende hasta el rompeolas y el lateral del anfiteatro Hernán Marín, luego de recorrer el tercer piso y la zona que da hacia la playa, tomé varias fotografías y me dirigí hacia el punto de encuentro con mi amiga.

We walked about two kilometers before heading back to our starting point, aiming to catch the sunset and its beautiful colors. On the way back, we paused several times to admire the sky and its lovely hues, even spotting cloud formations that resembled animals like dogs and elephants. What I liked most about the sunset was the color palette, which formed the national tricolor—bands of yellow, blue, and red—creating a truly beautiful view that contrasted with the beach. As the afternoon wore on, the colors in the sky faded, giving way to the night.
Luego inciamos la caminata por la orilla de la playa, en compañía de varias personas que estaban antes de nosotras llegar, aunque había un poco de sol la brisa era fresca y perfecta para relajarse, caminamos aproximadamente dos kilómetros y nos devolvimos hasta el punto de partida,el sol se estaba ocultando y nuestro objetivo era ver el atardecer con sus hermosos colores, de regreso hicimos varias pausas pasa ver el cielo y sus lindas tonalidades, incluso observamos algunas formas de las nubes similares a animales como perro, elefante, entre otros, lo que más me gustó del atardecer fue la paleta de colres que formaron el tricolor nacional con franjas de color amarillo, azul y rojo, la vista es realmente hermosa y contrasta con la playa, a medida que avanzaba la tarde los colores en el cielo se disipaban para dar paso a la noche.
Moving forward, we reached the observation pier; the view from this spot is spectacular, offering a great look at the beach and the stretch of coastline. As night fell, the sky took on a beautiful reddish hue—I couldn't miss the chance to snap a photo. I loved the scenery: the clouds in the background and the sight of the pier illuminated by yellow and white lights. It was my first time visiting the pier at this hour, and it was a lovely experience I hope to repeat; the sky looked simply beautiful. We stayed on the pier for several minutes, enjoying the breeze and the night view, before a group of people gathered nearby for a dance-fitness session. I think it’s the perfect spot for this activity, given the open space and incredible views. Finally, at 9:00 PM, we headed home.
Avanzando, llegamos hasta el muelle mirador, desde este punto la vista es espectacular, se aprecia gran parte de la playa y la extensión de la costa, llegada la noche el cielo tomó un hermoso color rojizo, no podía perder la oportunidad de tomar una foto, me encantó el paisaje,,las nubes al fondo y la vista del muelle con las luces amarillas y blancas, es la primera vez que visito el muelle a esta hora de la noche y fue una linda experiencia que espero poder repetir, el cielo se ve sencillamente hermoso; nos quedamos varios minutos en el muelle disfrutando la brisa y el paisaje nocturno, luego se incorporaron varias personas a un lado del muelle para hacer bailoterapia, creo que es lugar perfecto para esta actividad por ser un espacio abierto y con increíbles vistas, ya a las 9 de la noche tomampos el camino a casa.
