**Happy start to the week, fellow travelers around the world! It is a pleasure to greet you and share my journey along the main avenues of Puerto la Cruz, a beautiful city in Anzoátegui state. The route began at the Guaraguao traffic circle, which serves as the main entrance when arriving from Highway 9 (Troncal 9). From the circle, you can head to various parts of the city; our destination was downtown Puerto la Cruz—specifically Plaza Bolívar and the surrounding area.
In the center of the traffic circle stands the "La Mariposa" (The Butterfly) sculpture. To the right, the phrase "I love Puerto la Cruz" appears in white letters with a red heart; on the other side, a blue letter "A"—representing Anzoátegui—completes the phrase "A Te enamora" (A Makes You Fall in Love). According to local residents, the butterfly lights up in beautiful colors at night, illuminating the city entrance. The city is also known as "Little Caracas" due to the large buildings visible from a distance along its various avenues. After passing the traffic circle, we took the avenue leading to the passenger terminal and, from there, to the plaza and its surroundings. Very close to the circle, there are also signs indicating which lane to take depending on your destination—whether it be 5 de Julio Avenue, Municipal Avenue, the route to Barcelona, or the way to the national capital, Caracas. I really like this city for its vibrant energy and tall buildings; in fact, many of them served as reference points to help us navigate to our destination. A bus stop is also located very close to the traffic circle; it is an iron structure featuring a roof and benches for sitting.

**Feliz inicio de semana amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, es un placer saludarles y compartir mi recorrido por las principales avenidas de Puerto la Cruz, una hermosa ciudad del estado Anzoátegui, el recorrido inició en la redoma Guaraguao, que constituye la entrada principal, cuando vienes desde la troncal 9, desde la redoma te puedes dirigir a varias zonas de la ciudad, nuestro destino era el centro de Puerto la Cruz, específicamente la plaza Bolívar y sus alrededores.
En el centro de la redoma se encuentra la escultura La Mariposa, al lado derecho la frase "Yo amo a Puerto la Cruz, en color blanco y un corazón rojo, al otro lado una letra "A" que significa Anzoátegui de color azul, y completa la frase "A Te enamora", según la información de algunos residentes en las noches, mariposa se viste de hermosos colores para iluminar la entrada de la ciudad, la cual también se conoce como la pequeña Caracas, por sus grandes edificios que se pueden observar desde la distancia en las diferentes avenidas, luego de pasar la redoma tomamos la avenida que nos conduciría hasta el terminal de pasajeros, y desde allí hasta la plaza y sus alrededores, muy cerca de la redoma se ubican también las vallas que indican el canal que se debe seguir dependiendo para el lugar donde te dirijas, la avenida 5 de Julio, la avenida Municipal, la ruta hacia Barcelona o si vas a la capital del país Caracas, esta ciudad me gusta mucho por su dinamismo y los grandes edificios, incluso muchos de ellos nos sirvieron como punto de refrencia y guía para llegar a nuestro destino, muy cerca de la redoma se ubica también una parada de autobuses, es una estructura de hierro con su respectivo techo y bancos para sentarse.
