Hi, internet folks – how’s it going? Today I went out with some friends to one of my favourite cafés to film some content for our K-pop event, and I really had a great time
Hola, gente de Internet ¿todo bien? Hoy salí con unas amigas a uno de mis cafés preferidos para grabar contenido para nuestro evento de kpop y la verdad me divertí mucho
We’re organising a K-pop get-together to celebrate the birthday of Stray Kids’ leader, Bangchan, in Valencia, my home town, so today we’re filming some content about it and taking the opportunity to have a bit of a chat whilst enjoying some dessert and a drink.
Vamos a hacer una convivencia de Kpop referente al cumpleaños del líder de Stray Kids, Bangchan en Valencia, mi ciudad, asi que hoy grabamos contenido al respecto y aprovechamos de platicar un poco comenos un postre y bebernos algo
We went to the venue, Lina’s Bakery, a really lovely Chinese café. I like it because the place is very fancy, cosy and kawaii – a perfect blend of everything I like.
Fuimos al lugar del evento, Lina's Backery, una cafetería china muy linda, me gusta porque el lugar es muy Fancy, cotage y kawaii, un compendio de todo lo que me gusta
The drinks menu is fixed, but the dessert menu changes every day, so the main attraction is that you always want to pop in to see what’s in the display case. I ended up ordering a blueberry cheesecake and a Matcha latte frappe (a Matcha Frappuccino) – that’s what the menu calls it, although the description is incorrect as it doesn’t contain any coffee.
El menú de bebidas es fijo pero el de postres cambian todos los días por o que el atractivo mayor es que siempre quieres ir a ver que hay en la vitrina, yo me terminé pidiendo un cheesecake de arándanos y un Matcha latte frapeado (un Frappuccino de Matcha) así le llama el menú aunque la etiqueta está mal debido a que no tiene café
The service is brilliant, and so are the products. The matcha was perfect – frothy, slightly thick (the liquid itself) – and, obviously because of the ice, it was really thick. In fact, as a bit of a funny story, one of my friends was left stranded at 4 Avenidas because the ride-hailing service dropped her off there by mistake, thinking it was the wrong venue. I went there and back, and the frappé was still intact – slightly runnier but still perfect.
La atención es buenísima y los productos también. El matcha estaba perfecto, espumoso, ligeramente espeso (el líquido como tal) y obviamente debido al hielo estaba super espeso, de hecho como dato curioso, una de mis amigas se quedó votada en las 4 avenidas porque el ridery (servicio de taxi) la dejó ahi porque se equivocó de sede y fui y regresé y el frappé estaba intacto, ligeramente más líquido pero aun perfecto
The cheesecake was a New York-style (baked) cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious. I tried it layer by layer and all together, and it was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake was incredibly creamy and smooth, with a sort of blueberry mousse in the middle and a blueberry jam topping decorated with two blueberries – in other words, they didn’t skimp on the fruit, and it tasted fresh and not at all artificial; even the cream cheese mixture in the cheesecake itself had bits of blueberry in it.
El cheesecake era un cheesecake tipo new york (horneado) y estaba buenísimo. Lo prové por capas y todo junto y estaba buenísimo. El cheesecake estaba super cremoso y sin grumos, tenía una especie de muss de arándamos en medio y encima una mermelada de aránadanos con una decoración con dos arándanos, es decir, no le escatimaron de la fruta y se sentía fresco y para nada artificial e incluso la misma mezcla de queso crema del cheesecake tenia trozos de arándanos
The truth is, we had a lot of fun filming the content and getting up to speed with it all; we hope our event will be well received.
La verdad es que nos divertimos mucho grabando el contenido y también poniéndonos al tanto, esperamos tener mucho receptividad para nuestro evento
