Hello, hello, internet friends! How are you all doing? I’m so happy—thank God—because I’ve finally managed to get a weight off my shoulders. You see, I’ve been sharing details with you lately about a short-term project of mine: an event I’m organizing for fans of one of my favorite K-pop bands, Stray Kids. In case you didn't know, K-pop fan clubs are incredibly well-organized and structured; they run all sorts of activities to keep the fandom alive and active. So, with Bang Chan’s (the band's leader) birthday coming up, I decided to organize a party. Obviously, only a limited number of fans will be able to attend, but we’ll share our thoughts on the band, do some fun activities, and just relax. The basic idea is for us to have a unique and awesome day—God willing.
¡Hola Hola, Gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? yo estoy muy contenta, gracias a Dios porque finalmente pude quitarme un peso de encima, y es que bueno, últimamente yo he estado compartiendo con ustedes un proyecto que tengo a corto plazo, se trata de un evento que estoy organizando para las fans de una de mis bandas de KPop favoritas, Stray Kids, por si no lo sabían, los clubs de fans de las bandas de Kpop están muy bien organizados y estructurados, así que manejan una serie de dinámicas para mantener el fandom vivo y activo, así que dado el cumpleaños de Bang Chan (líder de la banda) a mi se me ocurrió organizar una fiesta a la que obviamente asistirá un grupo limitado de fans, y allí pues compartiremos nuestras impresiones sobre la banda, haremos actividades divertidas, nos relajaremos y la idea básicamente es que pasemos un día diferente y genial (con el favor de Dios)
I’ve been organizing everything very well, but I still needed to find an ideal venue for the event; the place I had originally considered ended up being a disappointment because they cancelled reservations due to an upcoming closure. However, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining: I managed to find a spot I absolutely love—and it’s even better—an Asian-style café called Lina's Bakery.
Para eso me he estado organizando muy bien pero todavía me faltaba ubicar un lugar ideal en el cuál llevar a cabo el evento, ya que el lugar que yo había pensado en un inicio al final de cuentas me decepcionó pues canceló las reservaciones ya que van a cerrar. Pero como no hay mal que por bien no venga (como dice el refrán) yo pude encontrar un lugar que me encantó pues es mucho mejor, se trata de una cafetería de estilo asiático llamado Lina's Bakery
I immediately got in touch with the manager and owner, who showed me around the entire café and explained the terms; they seemed quite favorable to me—much better than at the restaurant I had originally booked. It is a quiet spot with a relaxing atmosphere, and since the owners are Chinese, the aesthetic aligns more or less with that theme and culture. I like that they maintain a very "kawaii" concept, which really resonates with me.
Enseguida me puse en contacto con la gerente y dueña del lugar quien me mostró toda la cafetería y me habló de las condiciones, las cuales me parecieron bastante favorables, mucho mejor que en el restaurante donde yo había reservado en un inicio. Es un sitio tranquilo, con una atmósfera relajante, y ya que los dueños son chinos, la estética va más o menos con la temática y la cultura. Me gusta que mantienen un concepto muy kawaii con el que converjo muchísimo.
But the best part of all was when the owner led me to the room they have exclusively for these reservations; as I mentioned, I already loved the place's aesthetic, but as I followed her, my heart was pounding with excitement and anticipation 😄
Pero lo mejor de todo fue cuando la dueña me condujo hacia el salón que tienen exclusivamente para estas reservaciones, como les dije ya me gustaba la estética del lugar pero mientras yo la seguía ya iba con el corazón retumbando de emoción y expectativas 😄
And just look at this beautiful room—it has something of a Japanese tea room vibe, haha (even though I’m mixing cultures a bit), but honestly, it has exactly the style and dimensions I was looking for. I absolutely loved the round table because it’s perfect for one of the activities I planned for the event, and it’ll also allow for better interaction among the fans. So, ever since I saw the room, I haven't been able to stop thinking about how it’s all going to look once it’s decorated 😍.
Y miren nada más que hermoso salón, tiene más o menos un estilo de salón de te japonés jaja (aunque estoy haciendo una mezcla de culturas) pero la verdad es que tiene el estilo y las dimensiones que estoy buscando, Amé la mesa redonda porque es perfecta para una de las actividades que diseñé para el evento y además nos permitirá una mejor interacción entre las fans. Así que desde que vi el salón solo puedo pensar en como se verá todo decorad 😍.
