Hi, Internet folks, how's it going? Today, after work, I set out to find a gift for DJ Luca, a Korean DJ who's coming to town next Saturday, and I want to let you know how it's going.

I wanted to give him something simple but representative of the country, so I decided on some snacks. I bought: Cereal Flips, Ovomaltine, tostones, and a Cocosette.
Queria regalarle algo sencillo pero que sea representativo del pais asi que obté por golosinas, compré: cereal flips, ovomaltina, tostones y un cocosette
I bought all of that at the supermarket, but I couldn't find any chocolate because the bars they had were huge and I wanted a smaller one—but since it was so late, I couldn't find one (I'll try again in a few days).
Todo eso lo compré en el supermercado, sin embargo, no pude encontrar chocolate ya que las barras que habían eran enormes y queria una más pequeña, pero por la hora no pude encontrarla (lo intentaré en unos días)
A mí me pasó lo mismo con la bolsa de regalo. La verdad es que tenía pensado envolver el regalo en una caja bonita, pero cuando llegué a la tienda donde las había visto, ya se habían agotado, así que empecé a mirar bolsas, pero ninguna me convencía del todo. Decidí ir a otra tienda, pero para cuando llegué allí, ya habían cerrado, así que tendré que hacerlo otro día.
The same thing happened to me with the gift bag. To be honest, I had planned to wrap the gift in a pretty box, but when I got to the place where I’d seen them, they were sold out, so I started looking at bags, but none of them really appealed to me. I decided to go to another store, but by the time I got there, they’d already closed, so I’ll have to do it another day.
Another thing that's going in that gift is a letter, which I decided to write in Coreno; I'll put it in an envelope inside whatever box or bag I find.
Otra de las cosas que van en ese regalo es una carta, la cuál decidí escribirla en coreno la pondré en un sobre dentro de la caja o bolsa que consiga.
I'm so excited about this because I really like and admire him, and I've been practicing so I can talk to him at the meet-and-greet, using a mix of both languages :3
Estoy demasiado emocionada al respecto ya que lo quiero y admiro mucho y he estado practicando para poder hablarle en el meet and great, una combinación de ambos idiomas :3
One of the things I like most about him is his mixing style, since he combines music from the country or culture he's visiting with K-pop in stunning remixes that almost make you think it's the same song.
Una de las cosas que más me gusta de él es su estilo al mezclar, ya que él combina musica del país o cultura que visita con kpop en trasciniones impresionantes que casi hacen pensar que es la misma pieza
