Hi, internet folks – how’s it going? After waiting for over 15 days, I’ve finally got the photos from the Meet and Greet with Luca, the South Korean DJ I mentioned in another post, and I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out
Hola, gente de Internet ¿todo bien? Después de más de 15 días de espera al fin me entregaron las fotos del Meet and Great con Luca, el dj Surcoreano del que ya les hablé en otro post y estoy bastante feliz con el resultado
The truth is, it was a miracle I managed to get to the meet-and-greet at all, because I’d asked for time off work on the day of the concert – the event organisers hadn’t told me that the meet-and-greet and the concert wouldn’t be on the same day. And although it sounds strange… fortunately, I’d resigned from my job the day before the concert due to disagreements, so I went calmly and very happily to my meet-and-greet with Luca. If I hadn’t resigned, I wouldn’t have been able to ask for a second day off at such short notice, and I wouldn’t have been able to go to what was, for me, much more important: meeting him in person.
La verdad es que pude ir al Meet de milagro debido a que yo había pedido permiso en el trabajo para tener el día libre el día del concierto ya que los del evento no me dijeron que el meet y el concierto no sería el mismo día y aunque suena raro.. afortunadamente había renunciado altrabajo por desacuerdos el día anterior al concierto asi que fui tranquilamente y bien feliz a mi encuentro con Luca. Si no hubiese renunciado no podría pedir libre un segundo día intempestivamente y no hubiese podido ir a lo que para mi esra mucho más importante que era conocerlo en persona
Luca, thankfully, understands a great deal of Spanish and speaks a little less of it; however, he can communicate very well, and I thanked my lucky stars because I was so nervous that I’d forgotten my English, lol. I took the opportunity to speak a bit of Korean to him, and he complimented me on doing it well – he even thought my accent was adorable.
Luca, afortunadamente entiende muchísimo español y habla un poco menos, sin embargo, se puede comunicar muy bien y agradecí a los cielos porque estaba tan nerviosa que se me olvidó el inglés lol aproveché para hablarle un poco de coreano y me felicitó por hacerlo bien además que mi acento le resultó adorable
As I was unsure whether there would be a Meet on the day of the concert, I’d given him his present that day – a selection of Venezuelan sweets and a rather heartfelt letter expressing my admiration for him and how I viewed him as an artist, as well as offering him some life advice. On the day of the meet-and-greet, not only did he recognise me as the girl who’d given him a present the day before, but he also thanked me again for the content of the letter (he’d already thanked me via DM on Instagram). We also chatted a bit about the country’s food and places to visit, and he gave me my autographed photo, which was longer than the others – something that made me very happy.
Yo al estar confundida sobre si no habría Meet el día del concierto, le había dado su regalo ese día, un compendio de golosinas venezolanas y una carta bastante sentida sobre mi admiración por el y como lo veía como artísta, además de ofrecerles consejos de vida. Ese día del meet no solo me recordó por ser la chica que le había dado un regalo el día anterior sino que me volvió a agradecer por el contenido de la carta (ya me había agradecido anteriormente por DM en instagram) además platicamos un poco sobre la comida del país y sitios que visitar y me dió mi foto autografiada, cual fue más larga que las del resto lo que me puso muy feliz
In the message, she thanked me once again for my gift and for coming to the meet-and-greet (as I’d told her on Instagram that I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make it, since the staff hadn’t sent me the details), but luckily I was able to go and have a really lovely day that I’ll never forget with an artist who was extremely kind and approachable with her fans.
En la nota me agradeció una vez más por mi regalo y por haber asistido al meet (ya que conversando en instagram le había dicho que no estaba segura de si podría asistir ya que el staff no me había hecho llegar la información) pero afortunadamente pude ir y pasar un día super lindo que nunca voy a olvidar con un artísta en extremo amable y dado con su publico
