This morning, while I was sweeping the dry mango and avocado leaves,, I spotted this slender lizard,.. locally known as “Tambalihan” in our dialect...
It was just looking at me and moving around the mango tree... Even after I finished sweeping, it was still there,. climbing up and down the tree trunk and moving around in circles.,.
I decided to take some pictures of it. However,, as I got a little closer to capture a better shot it started moving around the tree as if it were trying to hide... It almost seemed to know that I was taking pictures of it!
So, I kept moving around the tree to follow its movements.., hoping to capture a good photo of this fascinating little creature...

I see this little creature almost every day on our avocado tree,.. but it is always perched on the higher branches.. Today however,.. I spotted it on our mango tree... It seemed as though it was guarding something because, unlike usual, it didn't climb up to the higher branches,. even when I got a little closer to it... Instead,. it kept moving around the tree trunk as I followed it, trying to capture some good photos.. After taking a few pictures,. I decided to leave it alone and let it continue whatever it was doing...
