Day 3045 | Hot Yoga, Sim Racing & Kitchen Time

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, entertainment, and my personal life...

Friday was a packed day first with a bit of productivity while drinking a tea with some honey as breakfast.

I followed this up with a hot yoga class and once home, I made a smoothie to eat. I didn't have that long before I drove 30 minutes to meet up with a friend and his son to go sim racing which turned out as a fun experience. We did a grand prix formula which was 10 minutes practice, 10 minutes qualification, and 15 minutes race with the 2004 Ferrari F1 which had traction control. The game they ran was asseto corsa and it was a good balance between simulation and arcade.

I personally enjoyed it even though it was more a single player experience. The difference in times was also quite massive as I turned out having 1 minute and 11 seconds as my fastest lap while the one closest to me had 1 minute and 28 seconds. I do enjoy this process of trying to beat my best time though. The simulator also had motion on it but honestly that felt more like a gimmick and just felt like shaking as if you are driving a tractor.

Overall a fun experience and it kind up put me closer to getting my own sim racing setup one day.

Afterward we also went to go play pool and I stopped by the supermarket to buy what I need to make chicken stock. So before and while watching the evening football match I made that in order to properly make the Tom Kha Gai soup on Saturday.

Next Day Goals: I'm still thinking of joining a hot yoga class but might skip as I'm running short on time. Instead, I make it a day where I do a ton of reps. I will also make the Tom Kha Gai soup and put a lot of focus in the football matches.

Hot yoga, sim racing, pool, and cooking preparations all in one day? That's quite a packed schedule! I love those days when you stay busy but still get to enjoy every activity along the way.
