A moment in time, on the Pond....

And some would say I'm at home, if I'm at the waters edge....seeing... that I am Captain Quack. Im a duck for some specific reasons, its a word near and dear to me.

Nature is quite special to me as well, and i had a moment to snag these pictures here, and have some material for a post, which i am due for.

THE POND

The sun was hitting just right on this fine afternoon, with the weather slowly getting into the Fall Vibe. Theres some cool spots to photograph here, but I havent really been practicing what it takes to get those really good photos. Plus, i dont really have pro equipment. Cameras have come a long way, since the days when i used to have an actual camera, solely dedicated to photograph.

Taking pictures has actually been a big thing of mine going back to even 2005, when phones started becoming more advanced. Even before then, i had a Ninja Turtle camera that used Film 😆, that i had when i was a kid and used to actually take pictures, that you had to take to the store to get developed. That can somehow be post material for the future, since i have the camera and some of the developed pictures.

The pond water, reflection was captured nicely here. Have to remember checking my megapixel quality.

The Lily Pads look cool.

Some interesting reflections going on here.....

And from a Frogs perspective....

Its funny, because my friend found this frog, but its not real......its just a fishing lure. We sat it on the corner of the bench and it created a nice lil picture to cap off this post...

Wrap Up

And time to wrap it up anyways the sunlight didnt last too long before it started getting just a little cold and closer to dusk.

And as the sun washes over me, and as the day turns into night. Im reminded that its beast season. Lets put in the hours somehow. Make this season count. Get our posts up, keep this place buzzin.

Another Post.... another Day and Night !!

  • Ah... very nice pictures. I also captured a pic of the sun over the weekend .. in the graveyard, very halloween.

    I just checked my ecency.

That's a great place to spend some time, and forget about the "outside world" for a while.

Plus... You've got an amphibian friend, @captainquack22.

  • @daily.life(71)· 9d

The first I saw the frog at the picture is looks like real but I was wrong. As I read your content, this frog is artificial. 😅 You captured perfectly just like a real one Dear @captainquack22 .

Wonderful Photo. Specially the last one. Have a great day Captain.

What a beautiful place, my friend. Whenever I think about the United States, I imagine places like this. I hope that one day I'll be able to afford to travel there and visit some friends!

A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles camera! Wow! Every man has cameras and Ninja Turtles trading cards. That's how the strong men of Hive were forged.

  • I'm also making the most of the last warm days of the year at our two quarry lakes—though they're really just two somewhat larger ponds... ;-)

  • @ardavaan(58)· 9d

The photo of a frog; It looked like he was waiting for his friend's boat 🐸🛶

Rozioo made post about his new games on hive! If you could reblog or help him reach to wider audience that would be nice!

    Keep Rockin! <3

The pond is looking nice during Fall. I thought that was a real frog, but I guess someone forgot their lure

Greetings, what a lovely landscape, exactly the kind of place I'd love to be: peace, tranquility, beauty. Greetings, friend, excellent pictures! I used to develop photos too. Those were the days! In my country, it was called developing film rolls... I still have the camera.

    Greetings friend, excellent photos.

Hahaha, you can really tell someone’s age by the things they used back then.

Before, whenever we took pictures, we had to have the film developed before we could see our photos. Films usually came with 12 or 24 exposures, so you just chose whichever you could afford. Once you had the film developed, you were so excited to see how the photos turned out. Unlike today, we can see the photo just one second after taking it. That’s how much things have evolved.

Well, your photography skills are actually pretty good! Of course, they’re not the same as those of professional photographers because they’re on a different level. Haha. But I really like the first photo.

Su primera foto es majestuosa, en mi época las fotografías eran en blanco y negro después llego el color, también amo tomar fotos.

Those are beautiful photos, Mr. Duck Photographer! I'd love to see that camera; I think you're from another century! 😁😁😁🫢🫢

Such a beautiful view to just make a pause, enjoy the surrounding and be with nature. And these shots are all pretty, second and the last photo is my fav.

  • @crstypatata(70)· 11d

Nice shot of the pond—especially the frog waiting for a girl to kiss him so he can turn into a handsome guy... haha, just kidding. But the frog looks so cute with its back turned, as if it's waiting for something or getting ready to jump into the water. 😅

What a beautiful afternoon to spend in nature. What a nice pond you have there, you caught some great pictures. I still have one of those old film cameras around somewhere, not that you can buy film anymore. But the Ninja Turtle film camera must be pretty cool!

You caught some great reflections and you can see the leaves starting to change as fall approaches. What a great place to spend the afternoon and just chill.

I use my camera for just about all photography now, it's just so much easier and the quality it nearly as good as real dedicated digital cameras anymore. Great job!

My vote power sucks today, so I sent a tip to make up for it!

What a beautiful place, my friend! It's incredible how many lovely places there are in this world. Here in my city, it's the total opposite, haha—hills, dirt, and very few plants. I live in Antofagasta, Chile 😊

  • @leighdalisay(70)· 11d

Captain Quack reporting for duty! 🦆😄 The fake frog had me convinced for a second there. Between the pond reflections, lily pads, and surprise fishing lure, this post felt like a mini nature adventure. Great captures!

These are very nice photos, Captain! I especially like the one with the frog looking toward the pond. It looks like the little froggie is having a peaceful moment there, just enjoying the view.

I also love nature and taking photos. I have to say, I’ve been taking a lot more photos lately thanks to the improved cameras on modern phones. It’s amazing how easy it is now to capture beautiful moments wherever you go. Cheers!

I can see fall is coming! unfortunately where I live now it's that hot, not necessarily the kind of season to cozy up and drink some hot cinnamon latte haha. You're lucky!

The first picture is a thing of absolute beauty. The way the sun just shines and lights up the area, it's astonishing.
